Love these Decoys!

I have purchased several Montana Elk decoys in the past few years. They have proven to be easy to use, durable, easy to pack, and most importantly, they really draw in the Bulls! For years I had marginal elk calling success without decoys. Since I began using these Montana Elk Decoys, my calling success rate during Archery Season has really increased. I also like the new lightweight non-metal stakes that are available! Great product. I highly recommend these decoys!

Fools 'Em All

Bought this decoy for the 2012 Colorado archery season. Set out my decoy at 15 yards last Sunday and waited for good shooting light. Made a few cow calls and he came right in; a mature MOUNTAIN LION that is. He came right up to the decoy and gave it a good sniff before leaving the way he came in. Thank God, he never saw me! As I said; this decoy "Fools 'Em All".

Miss September Elk Decoy

Decent product. Good likeness, light and portable. Leg supports are a little heavy (metal, not something lighter like graphite. Don't use on breezy days. Glad I bought it - just would like lighter leg supports

not for me

As a solo hunter I thought a decoy would be a nice thing to have. I doesn't fit my hunting style of walking and talking. I carried it for a week of a 2 1/2 week hunt and had a chance to use it twice, after that it stayed home. 1st time I had time to get it out and assembled but could only get 1 stake in the ground due to rocks/debris, I had to drop it as I ran out of time. Second time I never got it off my back as the bull was coming fast. I'm sure it would be an advantage in certain situations (like having someone there to set it up for you) but I have too many things going on when a bull is on the way than to mess with the decoy. Also the stakes went in the decoy alot easier at home in my yard than in a hunting situation. It maybe just the thing for someone else, quality and ease of assembly was just a 3.
