Best Trail Show I've Ever Owned | |

| The tread on these shoes literally saved my life while hiking where I shouldn't have been on a boggy mountainside in West Ireland. I've trailrun, traveled, hiked, farmed, biked, and hoolahooped in these puppies for four years, and the inner liner is just now starting to wear out. Pricey to start with, they'll last you. I should say that the pair I bought was before Columbia bought the brand (WTH?), so I can't attest to the last couple of years' models. But if they left a good thing enough alone, they will last you well beyond the price point. One word of warning: these are okay for a few road runs here and there when you're traveling, but I wouldn't expect them to be your everyday mileage shoes. You'll want more padding for that sort of thing. Also, these are pretty true to street size, but if you aren't sure, go a half-size higher if you plan on wearing any kind of cushy running/hiking socks, or are picky about having enough room in the toe box.
