Nice product | |

| These pants were very well made. The white seems a little bit less opaque than I would like (need to wear light thermals under them). And they are a shell, with no insulation, so therms are a must in most conditions. But quality is typical of Mountain Hardwear -- very good. And fit was very good. With the exception of the inseam. They seemed 1 inch longer than they were supposed to be, which was just a bit too long for me. So I'm going to return them. I got the regular length. Needed the short, evidently, and they don't have it in stock. It's great that they come in different lengths thought. If it hadn't been for that issue, they would have been keepers. | |

good value for the price!

| works great for active outdoor Winter activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, alpine skiing in Colorado. Need to add mid or heavy weight base layer in very cold conditions where you're not exerting yourself, e.g., alpine skiing in colder weather and riding the lifts. I had to size up to be able to add a base layer. Fits a little tight in the hips (I'm a competitive cyclist, muscular lower body)so my normal size 6 was too tight and I had to go to an 8. Great value for the price, maybe not quite as breathable as expensive high-performance gear (I didn't actually do a comparison) but who cares, the price was right! | |

no gusset in crotch | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I bought this pant & Recon Pant also by Mountain Hardwear. Nice pant but doesn't seem any shorter than "regular" Recon Pant. Also no gusset in crotch. Stiffer & probably more sturdy material than Recon Pant but I prefer the softer fabric of Recon Pant. Would have to wear fleece pants or under layer under both pants so I prefer the lighter weight of Recon Pant. Recon Pant fits me better. I'm 4'10" & usually wear size 6-8 pant size. Tried Short Medium to allow room for fleece pant underneath but feels too big and longer than Recon Pant regular length. | |

Awesom Find! | |

| Altrec, you've done well to carry these ski pants! I was looking for a few specifics. I needed warmth, durability, moisture resistance and a small tailored fit. Other more expensive name brands hadn't come close to the figure flattering fit these have. Being 5'1" and 105 lbs...others made me look like a little bulky brick wall. These show a tailored fit because of the double Velcro closures on each side. What a slick look! These met all my needs! Whuhoo! | |

Versatile Pants, Great Fit
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These pants can go skiing in any condition. I am on the petite side and I love the way they fit closely but comfortably. The side zips, back stretch-panel and the velcro closures make them very wearable with different layers. My only complaint is the lack of pockets; would love to see a pocket down the inside seam of the pant leg - I don't like to sit on my credit card or lipstick! | |

Hard core pants at reasonable price

| Great features make this an excellent pant for skiing without breaking the bank. Best features: full side zips, waterproof/breathable membrane, snow skirt that has a snap and velcro, the waist is adjustable with velcro tabs on each side and a stretchy back panel.Inseam protection panels are heavy duty.Rest of material is heavy duty without being too bulky or heavy.Overall, this is a good buy for those looking for a durable pant[...]. | |

Best ski pants ever | |

| These pants are replacing a pair of Mtn HardWare pants I've worn for 8 years, and they're even more wonderful than the last pair. Same great fit and durability, but now with pockets! The last pair are still going strong, but I lost 20 lbs and needed 2 sizes smaller. They are perfect over mid-weight long underwear. If you tend to get cold easily, you'll want heavyweight long underwear. | |

Very nice! | |

| These are definitely great pants with high quality! I am 5'4'' and usually wear size 0 reg. I bought xs reg which fits me perfectly in terms of length and waist. However, I have to let it go due to several reasons: the waist line is too high; there is only one small pocket on the back; it fits great on the waist, but other places, baggy. | |

Snow-bunnies, look out!

| Wow- these are cute and very well-made. Lots of features. Easy to adjust the waist with velcro tabs and two side zippers to get in. The material is a little on the heavy side for sports that thrive on lots of movement (like skate-skiing) but I will love them for everything else in the cold. and believe it or not, they seem flattering on! | |

A great find! | |

| I purchased these for my wife and she loves them. My wife is tall and has very long legs. It's almost impossible to find womens ski gear that is long enough to fit and look good. These are perfect. Thanks for carrying products for taller womens! And not only do the fit well, but these are a great pant at a great price. | |

Not an insulated ski pant
| Rating: | ![]() |
| We had to return these pants because they could not be used for skiing or snowboarding since they were not imsulated for warmth. We did not like the super high tight waist design, yet loose through the hips and thighs. This very strange design would not have felt comfortable with long underwear beneath the waist. My daughter and I are the same clothing size and neither of us liked the way the pant fit and were disappointed with the lack of insulation. | |

very high waisted | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This pant was perfect in every way.. side leg zips, good material. But it was too high waisted for my 5'2" petite frame. Bummer! They had to be returned. Still searching for that great pant to tour/skin in. | |

Not a great fit. Not very warm either.

| The bottom half doesn't fit at all, but the waist does fit well and is very comfortable. Not enough pockets. Best uses for mild weather, and some winter sports. | |

Not exactly what I had in mind
| Rating: | ![]() |
| After reading the reviews, I was excited to receive my new ski pants. After trying them on, I was disappointed with the overall feel, but very satisfied with the quality. I am tall, so the articulated knees hit me a little higher than I expected. If you are tall, you may want to try a different pant. Also, the side zippers were inconvenient to me and the velcro on the waist was not all that adjustable. The upside is that during a recent skiing trip, they were warm and comfortable (once I was zipped and velcroed in), and I believe them to be durable enough to be around for years to come. | |
