"as warm as the manufacturer claims - now if only everyone could do that."

I returned the cats meow bag for this one. I can say this blows it out of the water. As another reviewer stated the cats meow feels crinkly - I imagine you'd get the same comfort and warmth from a hefty garbage bag as TNF Cats Meow bag, and think of the savings! As for this bag it weighs 48oz so its not ultralight but it not overweight either since its temp rating IS HONEST - hmmm... take some notes TNF. I took it to the Tetons in wyoming it went down to about 36 at night. I slept in PJs with a smart wool hat I love that hat and I slept like a baby. I'm a very cold sleeper . The material rivals a home comforter. If you don't believe order this bag and see for yourself. The bag has room

"i'd buy it again- cheaper than full body waxing!"

incredibly warm. have you ever sat next to a fire and warmed up your back and then laid down and felt it singe your back hair slightly? that's what this does- i am now hairless thanks to this bag- it burned it all off. in all seriousness- if anyone knows where i can get some extra body hair- it would be appreciated. i used this bag this weekend and couldn't be happier. at 6'7 i ordered the long version and was mostly comfortable. a little constricting in the foot box, but overall it's great. i need to get a compression sack for it, but the included mesh storage dealie is nice for my laundry...

"Love this sleeping bag, cant wait till next weekend."

Rating:*****
Took over two weeks to get the sleeping bag... I had a chance to field test the bag on a two night trip. slept in 1 man tent, sweat shirt and pants, socks and wool hat, We faced a small snow storm 4, temps dipped into the teens and I was very comfortable. The bag has more room than your typical mummy bag so I didnt feel restricted. The material is very soft and silky, made sleeping outside very nice. It comes with a mesh bag for storage and a compression sack. The compression sack took a bit of practice to fit the sleeping bag in but now I have it down to a science.

"Best bag I have had in a while"

Rating:*****
This is a great sleeping bag. The construction is very high quality and the welded seams prevent extra wear. This is a very comfortable bag to sleep in. The only downside I can see is that the draft tube by the zipper isnt very big and some cold air might sneak in. Other than that it is awesome. Also it has a bunch of little pockets by the zipper which would be great for a watch or small alarm. I cant wait to use it again.

"awesome bag plenty of room for a big guy."

Rating:*****
I did a lot of research online looking at different bags since this would be my first serious bag purchase. All the reviews made this bag sound great. I have loved it since I bought it. I am a big guy (6'2" 260 lbs) and this bag has more than enough room for me. I packs down super small and doesn't weigh you down. Works great in the warm weather.

"Sweet Bag"

Rating:*****
Just got the lamina in and I definitly think it is a great sleeping bag. Its decently light and perfect for 40 degree and above camping. I'm 5'10 150 and there is little bit of extra room so you body can move around in it a bit. The stuff sack Mountain Hardwear sends with it is a cool bonus.

"Do you think I would get anything but PERFECT."

Rating:*****
The sleeping bag feels like a dream. It's fabric are like the most comfortable in the world and it's loft is just great. A big plus is the edition of the storage sack which lets you know Mountain Hardwear has your back. I truly recommend this sleeping bag or any sleeping bag by Mountain hardwear.

"Mountain Hardwear quality is LIGHTS OUT."

Rating:*****
I got this bag because my new TNF bag got stolen at college...and long story short im never going back. The quality seems great, its very soft compared to other bags, i havent got a chance to really try it out yet, but i have faith in MH as they are top notch.

"great bag for those looking to pack lighter without sacrificing warmth"

Rating:*****
Nice bag. Very light for its temperature rating. A great bag for backpacking as it packs down very small the included stuff sack is at least a 15 value.
