When the day promises sharp, chilly temps and long hours out in the elements, pull on the Power Stretch Tights from Mountain Hardwear. Stretchy and smooth, you'll stay warm and dry all day in Polartec 4-way stretch fabric that wicks moisture from your skin while allowing unencumbered movement. Specifications based on Women's size Medium.

If you're looking for a mid-weight layer that's more than long underwear, Mountain Hard Wear Power Stretch Tight has you covered. Use it as a lightweight outerwear for climbing, hiking or mountain biking in the summer or layer it for cold backcountry adventures. The reversible design allows you to adapt to changing climate conditions (smooth side out results in better moisture wicking, thermal warmth).
When you're heading for the mountains in sub-zero temps, Mountain Hardwear Women's Power Stretch Tights are the perfect warm base layer pants for your layering system. Providing the same warmth as midweight fleece, these pants are made of soft, fast-wicking Polartec Power Stretch. Flat-lock seams and a gusseted crotch make these pants very comfortable while providing uninhibited freedom of movement. Put a shell over these tights, and be set for the coldest weather you can find in the lower 48.

my favorite winter baselayer.
| Rating: | ![]() |
i love these pants for skiing and snowboarding. they have a high waist--which i actually love--because it keeps the snow off my bum. they are also pretty fitted but not too tight to be uncomfortable. the waistband is non-chafing and very comfortable. even if you pull it down to a lower level, it doesn't cut into you. i am 5'6", 120 lbs and a small is perfect. i should add that i've washed these probably a hundred times, and they're still in perfect shape.

Warm, wicking, awesome

I used to have the Marmot Power Stretch Tights, and I loved them, but I think I like these better. They're a little warmer and have a smooth face with a fleecy interior. I wore these snowboarding and snowshoeing in freezing cold weather and stayed warm, and sometimes I even wear them under skirts in the winter.

LOVE THESE TIGHTS!!! | |

I purchased these for cold weather running, and LOVE them! I sometimes even just wear them aroudn the house because they're so wonderful! These get an all around 2 thumbs up! I am a size 12, and ordered a large which is a *little* big, but not so much that they don't work for tights. I would likely order a medium next time just to compare.

Great baselayer for frigid temps

I am outside a lot for work, and I wear these tights when temps are below 20F. I also wear them camping and backpacking. They're very soft and comfortable, and they do a great job of keeping my legs warm. They seem to run large; my mediums are plenty roomy and I'd probably have fit into a small just fine.

be careful with sizing | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I am a size 12 normally. The manufacturer's size chart shows my measurements are a size 16, which is a large. So I ordered a large. However, the large is huge on me and I went back to a medium. Go by your normal size and disregard the mfr's size chart. These are great, though...super soft and wear/wash well.

Perfect in every way! | |

| These tights are wonderful as is to wear around the house or perfect as an undergarment. I know, I have worn them both ways. They are the perfect length for my long 32" inseam and are soft, breathable, and extremely comfortable. I liked them so well that I ordered another pair in the other color choice. | |

Really Great Product | |

| Super product. I will definitely be buying another pair. May be worn fleece side in as a heavy weight layer or smooth side in as a moisture wicking mid weight layer. Could also be worn as leggings under a long sweater etc. Stands up to wind and cold as its own layer. Highly recommend. | |

Thick, warm, breaths well

| I feel in love with these and purchased more for members of my family who are pleased, also. I often wear my black pair as outer layer pants. My only complaint: they "pill" and don't look as nice after a lot of wear and washing. So I keep an extra pair "just for good". | |

best tights ever | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These are the coziest most comfortable tights for cool to freezing days. I use them for bicycling, running and crosscountry skiing, also sea kayaking on cool fall days. This last purchase was for a friend who hates the cold weather coming up here in Wisconsin, but wants to keep running. | |

Power Stretch tights saved my butt

I purchased my first pair of these tights last year and instantly fell in love! I'm a competitive race walker who works out during Wisconsin winters, and these tights have kept me warm and dry through blizzards and unbearable windchills. Worth their weight in gold!
