Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Tight Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

These are one of the best pairs of tights I ever bought - delivered everything they were promised to deliver. But even for very small women (5') like this reviewer, they feel a tad too low-waisted for winter. (One inch higher would do it).

This tight is great - not too tight and not too baggy. The waistband keeps pants from falling and the stretch material of the pants is exactly what I was looking for.

Neutral Reviews:

Great quality, sizing sucks.

I love these, they are awesomely warm and great for skiing and hiking in moderately cold (40ish degree) days. However, the fit is awful. The other reviewer(s) are right, unless you have no rear end (I don't have much of one), they will not really fit right -- there is a very low rise in the back. They run small. I wear a size 6 normally, and wear a size small on top in Mountain Hardwear; the mediums in these pants barely fit me. Further, I am 5'8" and they do not go down to the tip of my foot as I would like, rendering them somewhat impractical when I hike in lower shoes. I'm not impressed with the fit at all; however, the quality is amazing. They will make a great base layer for skiing.

Too Small

These tights runs a size or two small. I'm a very small person- (5'3, 24''waist, 34'' hip) and the XS was VERY small. I ordered the next size up and this a still pretty small. Also the rise is very short. I like a higher rise for high-activity clothing and my crack shows in these (again, I'm totally small). The up-side: these are really good quality.
