They do the job, but make some compromises

These gloves represent a good compromise of warmth, windproof, water resistant, and good dexterity. They are great for every day wear, even down into the 30s. If it were significantly colder or long exposure, I'd want something warmerI haven't tested the water resistance. The goat skin palm is a great feature. The "not so good": The inner seams on these gloves are bulky. I've become used to them, but they definitely rubbed at the beginning. They also make it difficult to get a good grip at the finger tips. The ends of the gloves are always in my way when I do zippers or the clasp on my dog leash. In the end, they meet my needs but I'm not in love with them.

So far so good!

I use these for caving, so they get abused. Great for while I'm on rope or climbing up the jagged rocks. I used them digging out rocks in a clogged passage. Also they are great for cooler weather, they keep my hands nice and toasty! So far they are showing a little bit of wear but nothing too bad. Worst damage was from barbed wire fence, punched small hole in them. All around a good glove though, I'll buy another pair when these ones wear out!!

Awesome Gloves, Just what i was looking for!

Got these about a week ago and got them just in time due to the snow factor. 1st time i've ordered a pair of quality gloves with a price like this and they are totally worth it. Other cheap gloves rip and don't hold out water for long. These gloves for the week that i've had them have been through some tough times and they still look new. Awesome buy.

Like love for your fingers

Great product. Not too bulky but still warm. Allows you to do things with gloves on that you would normally have to take them off for. Great material and stiching doesn't get in the way. Nothing worse than a bad seam.

Good, not great...

I had been searching for a cold weather glove that I could wear around camp that featured leather palms and after a lot of buying and returning I settled on these, and I do mean settled. The warmth is nothing to write home about, the palms are very nice however a large part of the stitching is on exterior of the glove, in the palm, and promptly melted when I grabbed a hot pot off the fire. For me, the fingers seem a bit long (which I realize is subject to change based on the individual), and the soft back may as well be a hard shell for how little it stretches. A good glove? For some maybe... for me it falls short of my needs.

Good Fit

I bought this glove to use mostly for setting up a camp site or when I'm putting together my gear which they worked good for since they fit very well but my hands did get cold after awhile. short term use in cold weather they did good.
