"everything I was looking for"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I went down to my local gear store and took down their bags and stuffed them to compare visually before coming online and ordering from moose jaw. This bag stuffs very small for a 15 degree synthetic. I could find some 20+ degree bags that stuff to a similar size but this is about the best synthetic i found as far as temperature rating compared to stuff size. As long as you aren't sleeping in the snow this should do the trick. The temperature rating really seems accurate. Reading other reviews, some have said that if you are near the cutoff for the normal/long bag you should probably take the long. But at 5'3" this bag is plenty long. | |

Wife be happy | |

I bought two of these puppies....one for the wife and one for our daughter....they are both 5'4" ish and the regular is a good fit for them....but the most important factor is that they were warm on our last trip to 10,000 ft. with temps in the high 20's and even with some dripping tent condensation had no complaints which truly makes a husband/father smile...the woman's Ultralamina 15 has an observable amount more insulation than the mens (as that is the bag I have) I dig the little zippered storage pocket up by the neck....it fits a Blackberry and an ipod with a little room still...

Lightweight & warm! | |

| I bought this bag based on good review by backpacker.com and used it for my first camping trip. It kept me toasty throughout 35-45 degree nights, and the hood kept my 'pillow' in place. I wish it had a long zipper on at least one side to make it easier to get in and out, and to pop a toe out when my feet get too warm. And if you have to sleep on an angle, be prepared to slide right down the pad since the back is extremely slippery. Otherwise, I'd say this is WONDERFUL! | |

"WOW! Only carrying air could be lighter."

| Is this thing even there. It's like packing a cloud it's so light and fluffy. Fantastically warm also. Only issue is that the sizing might be a little off. My Wife is 5'5" and barely fits in the normal. I'd suggest the long if your this tall. | |
