"We absolutely love this dog pack!"

| I absolutely love this Mountainsmith Dog Pack. I gave one to my brother and his black lab Baxter for Christmas. Baxter is my brothers assistance dog, so the backpack is a real help. I saw cheaper types at different pet stores, but I absolutely loved the design and quality of this backpack that was completely worth the extra cost. I've talked to him recently and they've already found many uses for the bag. My brother fills it with weights while he excersises Baxter to make the run harder for him. He puts books in it while going to class. He also fills it with water bottles and a portable bowl when going on trips. Basically, this dog pack was the hit of the Christmas Season. We loved it! | |

"Thanks for the assist. It's making life more bearable for the woman I love."

| My wife just loves this pack. No, I don't put it on her, I put it on Jake - our seizure assist dog. My wife started having seizures a while ago and now takes Jake everywhere with her and he can carry some of the things she needs or likes to have. A blanket to cover up after the seizure, some water, a pack of medicine and a document telling people what dosage she's taking, etc. After the seizure, Jake sits with her and licks her and nuzzles her and when she's ready, the handle is convenient to help her get on her feet again. | |

"Awesome Dog Pack" | |

| This pack holds alot of stuff. My dog's love to go backpacking and bouldering with me but it is so tiring to have to carry extra water food, leashes, and toys. They can finally do it themselves now. It takes some getting used to for some dogs however, I put it on my lab first and she just layed down and went catatonic. Haha, she is used to it now, and it makes her so proud to be helping me out. Get this for your dog and put some purpose in thier life. | |

"A real Adventure Pack for a real Adventure Dog!"

| This is a no messin around, worth every buck, packin back country with a dog as seriously equipt as you are back pack! My GSD was born for this pack and sports it well. Sturdy and muilti straped for a secure fit as well as grab the dog and haul him to safety if necessary. Take this on as you would your own pack and allow for equal weight distribution coupled with incremental weight increases as the dogs ability develops. Perfect for the working dog or casual weekend warrior. | |

A great way to keep our dog strong

| Our dog carries water and food with this pack and it seems to fit her well. The material is tough, so it doesn't rip when she has to crawl under branches or around rocks. The only thing I don't like is the compression straps on the side get hung up on branches sometimes. We don't use them and have thought of cutting them off. | |

"I should have bought this pack years ago!"

| This is the greatest thing ever! Perfect for long hikes or even short 1 hours walks with the family. Let your dog carry your keys, phone, and water. It even has a leash hook on it if your in a busy area. Just make sure you pack it evenly. Fits my yellow lab Max perfectly! | |

"Great pack!" | |

| Works great. We bought the medium for our german shorthair and it fits great and she doesn't mind it on her back, because she told me. Oh yeah I have a very intelligent dog. She said she finally feels complete when we go backpacking together. Looks and functions great. Would recommend. Plenty of room. | |

| Awasome pack, perfect size for a 60 lb dog. My dogs took a few days to get the feel of it and then we were off. Just think, less weight for you! | |

| Don't bother with those cheap nylon packs, this is the real deal. well worth the money. The staps adjust enough for a really great fit. | |

"quality pack for the price"

| got this for hiking with our 75 lb shephard mix. fits him well! and the side packs are good-sized and not too bulky. would be much better if it had a ring for the leash on the front harness strap or anywhere. | |

"Would have been better if my dog liked it"

| The harness pulled back on the dog's shoulders when fully loaded. Restricted his movement and that is tough to do to a 100 Lab when he was going fast. | |

"Will return and go with Ruff Wear Palisades due to the front harness setup"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Nice construction and good storage compartments, however I like the three point front harness in the Ruff Wear Palisades pack better for longer rigorous hikes. | |
