Positive Reviews:

Love the idea, but I'm a tough fit

Rating:****
I love the idea of this product, but, like I said, I'm a tough fit. I've been a fan of Moving Comfort sports bras for over a year (ever since I discovered them). But my bra size has changed from a 34DD to a 32D in the past several months, so I've been in the market for some replacement sports bras. Since I wasn't able to find a 32D in this bra, I decided to try the 34C (sales associates elsewhere tell me the two sizes are basically equivalent...I'm thinking they're not). The band on this sports bra was definitely too loose to be supportive. I really wish Moving Comfort would offer more sizing options! I think this sports bra would be great for so many reasons, if I could just find the right size. I really like the color options. Most sports bras, especially in larger cup sizes are made in boring colors, but not this one. I also love the idea of not having a closure at the back. The sports bras I currently own have a hook and bar closure at the back, which usually makes my back hurt when I'm at a yoga or pilates class.

Best Sports Bra I Ever Owned!

Rating:*****
I go to the gym 3 times a week. Before that, I was an avid step aerobics exerciser. I love this bra! I tried on many bras at the local sports shop and some were impossible to get over my head. This one is easy to put on. It has good support (I'm a B cup) and it's very figure-flattering, not that you would go around in just your bra, but it's amazing how the right underwear can make you feel! Since it was a closeout item and 1/2 price I wasn't concerned about the color. I ended up getting the blue one and I really like it! A+++ on this product!

Very Durable With a Few Problems

Rating:****
This a heavy-duty number. Not a lightweight bra. I've worn a 36C for years but could have ordered a 36D and been able to breathe. A 38 would probably be ok too. I've relegated it to jogging only because I'm too lazy to send it back. Love how comfortable the shoulder straps are, nice fabric. Though the seam across the nipple can be irritating. Likely would be less so if going up in size.

I love these!

Rating:*****
I use these bras as well as the racer backs for both running and horseback riding (3-day eventing). What I have, I don't want moving around! I used to wear the kinds of jog bras that don't have a shape and sort of strap you down, Now, I've tossed all of them for the moving comfort ones with seams. Nothing moves, and they keep your shape, too.

Well-made bra.

Rating:****
I read all the reviews, and many women went a size down, with success. I ordered my regular size, 32C, and the cups did not come up high enough to provide adequate support. I have other bras in this brand and love them. Very well made. The band width is true to size, but if you even remotely require a full-cup bra, I'd keep looking.
Love great bras at Sierra Trading Post on 08/31/2009

great sports bra!

Rating:*****
Love this bra and its surprisingly flattering! Actually gives me better shape than my regular bras and am tempted to wear it all the time. It provides great support for the gym, walking, or biking although if you are a runner I would recommend the same bra with the racerback instead (which I also own and feels a more supportive)

One of my favorites

Rating:*****
I'm pretty flat, and I love this style. It holds everything in place without losing any curves. Also, it's super comfortable and is thick enough that I think you could wear it without a shirt if you're the type of exerciser who feels like she's dressed in just a bra top in hot yoga class or while running.

great fit

Rating:****
The non-racer back fit is terrific and quite supportive. The 36C fit true to size without smashing. I haven't tried a run with it yet - it seems borderline for that impact but worked well for other gym workouts and backcountry skiing. Wicks well. And the yellow is a soft, pretty one

love this bra. fits great

Rating:*****
i work out 5 times a week and love this bra. fits me perfect looks good and gives me enough support thru my workouts. i wash it over and over but hang it up on a hanger to dry. have one for over a year and it is still in great shape.

Negative Reviews:

Disappointed

Rating:**
I had gotten a Moving Comfort bra earlier this year and I loved it, but I lost enough weight that I wanted a smaller one. I liked it so much, I ordered two of these, which are the same brand, but a slightly different bra. I like that it isn't a racer back and it looks exactly like the one I had already. I noticed that the logo is sewn in a different place and that's the only difference until I put it on. Mind you, this is a full size smaller than the one I had, but this bra must be only for FULL-FIGURE ladies because it gapes open and offers zero support. I am very disappointed.

Not Impressed.

Rating:**
I was dissapointed by this bra. I thought it was going to be like one I already had have and love, but the fit was off. I am a 34B and I ordered a small, but the bra was too big and it had an awkward fit. The seams that cross your chest are poorly crafted and they don't lie flat. I am returning it for another Moving comfort Larkin Model.
Lolly at Sierra Trading Post on 11/06/2009

Terrible, bumpy seams

Rating:*
This is an example of what a bra should not be. It's too big, and worst of all- the seams run right down the front and they're extremely bumpy. If you actually tried to wear this under clothes and go somewhere, it would look like you had lumpy breasts. I don't understand how a product could be so poorly made.
Molly at Sierra Trading Post on 10/18/2009

um not too sure

Rating:**
I was dissappointed in this, but not enough to send it back. The material in general and the seams in particular are pretty thick. The seams would show through just about any shirt. They sorta form ridges. I don't quite fill my out, maybe if I did that would be less noticeable.

Neutral Reviews:

not high impact -- straps too loose

Rating:***
Not high impact. I bought the same size with a racer back and that was fine, but the scoop back means the straps aren't tight enough to hold me up, and there's gapping under my armpits. Just a tiny bit, so I can still do medium-impact activities in it, but I spent the money to get a running bra. I kept it anyway for other activities, but I will only be able to use the OTHER one with the racer back for running.
yo at Sierra Trading Post on 02/14/2009

nothing specia

Rating:***
It's hit and miss for me a lot with Sierra Trading Post, this was just a miss. Probably partly my fault, as I prefer racer back style bras for exercise. But I'm a tall, lanky, small busted gal, and the 'cups' were bigger than marked, making it pretty useless to me as a bra, t-back or not.
gratonite at Sierra Trading Post on 02/18/2009

Not a Good Fit

Rating:***
I followed the online fit guide precisely, measured myself and ordered a 36C. The bra arrived looking huge--if i saw it in a store I might think it was a 38. Indeed, it was downright baggy on me. I may order the 34, but am afraid even that might be too large.
YogiCyclist at Sierra Trading Post on 03/02/2009

Just OK Sports Bra

Rating:***
Not great support. Nice looking. This is a double upper if you are larger chested and want to run. Fine for low impact activities. I kept it because I will wear it but would not buy another. It is a pull over the head kind. A little tough to get off.
ob606 at Sierra Trading Post on 11/24/2008

Wouldn't recommend

Rating:***
This was way too big. I ordered my usual bra size but this top was not true to size. I didn't like the cup inserts and they can't be removed.
Trihead at Sierra Trading Post on 01/05/2009

Great color selection.

Rating:***
I went one size smaller and the support still is not great. Dori bra way better for high impact sports.
kim fhe runner at Sierra Trading Post on 02/12/2009

Sturdy and well-made, but too big

Rating:***
This sports bra doesn't provide enough support for a 34B sized runner. I would order a size down.
