| System 1: | System 1 kits have two plates that rotate with the chainring. Originally designed for elevated chainstay bikes but with the smaller ring systems like the MiniMe, Dual Slalom and the World Cup they have been used on standard or lower stay bikes |
| System 2: | System 2 has a split, stationary inner plate which attaches to a 3-arm boomerang allowing the guide to be set up close to the bike for optimum chainline. |
