More of a 2-in-1... but still great!

This cap is great, it provides 2 easy ways to poor your water… You can either use the small flip spout or unscrew the small cap and pour a fast and steady flow. I like this cap, and I always take it with me when I am using my Dromlite bladder, however there are a two things I would change. 1) It is not a 3-in-1, it provides two ways to pour, the third involves taking the cap off and filling/pouring from the large opening… but seeing as how the cap in not in use for this part, it can't really be considered one of the 3 uses. 2) The small flip spout is too low flow for my taste, I have used it to fill my camelbak, nalgene (it also fits on nalgene bottles), platypus or whatever, and I usually get impatient and unscrew the cap and let the water fly. The flip spout is cool, it simply needs to let more water flow through it, perhaps with a bigger opening.

Other than that, this cap makes a lot of sense and when I use it, I'm glad I have it.

Well Worth It

If you're looking at this then you probably understand the need, or you had better foresight than I did. The MSR bag is great and worked well for me and the 3 in 1 cap provides multiple dispensing options, however, there isn't any attachment to keep the smaller cap linked with the larger cap. Losing this small cap caused a half hour of frantic searching for my party that was halfway through a weeklong trip on a remote island. If you have an MSR bag, you should have an extra cap.

Many functions

This is the best all-round cap to have on your drom. One thing I love doing is to hang it from a tree branch and set up a hand washing station when out backpacking. Nobody wants fingernail grime mixed in with the couscous. Its tempting to get the hydration hose, and I do have one of those and I use it frequently, but I always always always bring this little black cap along with me since the hydration hose can be... lets say... temper mental.

Good Cap for anything

This cap comes with a MSR Dromedary usually, but if you do not have this exact one, it is definitely a good purchase. There are three different ways of hydration, either the small piece that you can see flips up, the small cap, or the larger cap, most likely used for filling. Perfect for drinking and refilling others water bottles because they didn't bring enough water...figures

MSR Dromedary

I've had the MSR 2 liter dromedary for 11 years now. It just won't wear out. The one problem is I keep losing the small cap. MSR needs to sell this separately. As far as I know they don't. So I just keep an extra cap on hand in my bear canister. But the whole setup has outlasted the many other brands my friends use.

Necessary

Absloutely necessary accessory for dromedary bags. Just with it had a tap for filling bottles - the flip top is a very small stream and the screw cap is a pain to deal with when the bag is hanging.

Get it all and spill a drop!

The best substitute for water drinking bottles(a lid with a nipple spout w/ a cap.You can even insert a drinking tube through it so you don't have to take the bottle out of your pack pocket.

It doesn't do magic tricks, but it works exactly how its supposed to

Lost the cap to my Dromedary and replaced it right here. Same product as the original. Works great.

Negative Reviews:

Just Replace These Caps with the Spigot

These are the standard caps for the all of the Dromedary bags, which are fantastic water carriers and worth every penny. But the small cap is easily lost, as you have to take it off get any amount of water out of the Dromedary, and they don't float. And lose the cap, lose the water. This is serious problem, especially if you're in a spot where you absolutely cannot afford to waste any precious fresh water.

Just replace these with the spigots. They cost more, but are far more reliable and useable. The spigots make the Dromedary bags really great water carriers.
