| I've used MSR with extensions for about 4 years now. I walk my dog around the farm in all conditions and don't falter in the wintry months thanks in part to these significant additional to the MSR shoes. I weigh around 175 lb and use the shoes with as little as 2" of snow. Although I have been a mountain hiker I do not enjoy sloshing around, even in light snow on a grassy trail. The extensions go on with 6" or more of fresh snow and have made trekking through 3 feet of snow a possible, if not easy, experience. If you put them on right they stay put. If I leave them on between treks I tighten them each time I go out. I feel sorry for person that lost one - karma is always there, but it isn't fun - this is good product. | |

| I have just received these 8 inch. tails for my evo ascents and they look well made but they DO NOT FIT THE EVO ASCENTS. You need to get the evo tails for the evo snowshoes. They are not a universal fit between the MSR denali snowshoes. | |

| These floaters are a blessing. After i secured them to the shoe, i had an easy climb. Not once did i fall through even on deep drifts. This is being said by a 240lb climber. I used this product in the ADK's | |

| Good for general use with my snowshoes, pretty mutch always need them because otherwise they dont have much flotation at all (for me, i weigh 180 lbs). Yesterday, though, I went for a walk in the park on them, and they seemed to not be working so well. When I went to take them off, i discovered that one of the tails had come off, so i backtracked about a mile and then gave up. And yes, Im quite sure i put them on correctly whether you believe me or not. | |

| I bought these to add to my MSR Evo Ascent snowshoes. Makes trudging through loose powder MUCH better. They snapped on pretty quick and easy. No probs with them yet. | |
