A tough classic

It doesn't get any more basic than this cookset. It will stand up to years of abuse. Tough enough to take dings but still lightweight.

MSR rocks

This is the ultimate backpacking cookset. If you are cooking for more than 2, or cooking for 2 really hungry people look no further. Yes aluminum is lighter, but not that much lighter. With aluminum you also have to protect the non-stick coating. This set is bomb-proof. The lid can be a frying pan as well. If the pans get real dirty, just rinse it out with rocks, sand, & water. The clean up is easy. I am beyond satisfied.

Tight Little Set

Everything fits together very well, the grip works very. They work as well as what I use at home. Not the lightest, but worth the money. I'm happy with what I bought.

A Little Heavy

Good, sturdy cookware with a nice handle tool. Only complaint is that it's a little heavy. If you're only doing dehydrated backpacking meals (and therefore only need to boil water), leave the smaller pot at home. With only the larger pot, lid, and handle, the whole package is lighter and gives you just the right amount of space for packing a stove, pump, measuring cup, and lighter inside. Very convenient, all-in-one package.

Like it says classic!

This is a great set if you are heading into the backcountry for 2-4 days with dry goods or pasta or rice. Lightweight, stays clean and will last you along time.

Can't go wrong

Had this set for 6 years. Bought it with the MSR Whisperlite International which fits inside this set. Very durable. Don't heat these without water in them as they will warp. Not that it will affect the performance though. I like having new gear but still after 6 years I can't justify replacing them. Beside I would just buy the same set anyway.

Bomber Cookware

If you're looking @ cookware for two or more that will last forever, this is it. Nests & stores very nicely Extremely durable & heats evenly. Cleans up very nicely with a little soap & water, "Scotch" pad, or sand. Blue discolorations caused be overheating can be removed with copper cleaner. A bit heavy, but if weight is not an issue, this cookware set is for you.
