Awesome addition to your camp kitchen!

Rating:*****
I got this about a year ago, and it's been with me on every camping trip since.
The main case is great for mixing either dry or wet goods before you cook them up, and it's pretty easy to clean. The center compartment is removable, so you can keep your utensils handy with out cluttering up the cooking area. And I love all the containers that come with it! Not many, but still, enough to have quite a few spices with you out in the boonies to kick up the campsite cooking a bit! The small ones are prefect for salt, pepper, and other small granular spices. The larger containers are good for some bulkier ones, like basil, bay leaves, or even other dried ingredients. There is a little extra room inside, so you could squeeze in another container or two if needed
It keeps everything nice and compact. It can fit inside some pots and pans, but I usually store my stove there, but I haven't had an issue with it being on it's own.
If you are looking for a simple and very packable way to add utensils and ingredient/spice containers to your camping gear, then check this kit out!

"Great little set of items to have when you get ready to cook."

Rating:****
I really like the way this whole set comes together. It is great to have all these items with you for your adventure no matter what the length of it. The spoon also doubles as a measuring device which is nice. There is enough room in the container for some pack towels another added feature. The spice features work nicely only small seepage from one I tried to put olive oil in...not sure I was supposed to do that but honestly it worked out ok. The container this all comes in is rigid making it a bit bulky in the pack...not sure there is any other way to do it but that is the only thing I would have an issue with. That being said, the added bonus of having these items is worth the clunky conta

"Great, small ,easy to pack, great additon on MSR cookware."

Rating:*****
Your camping out in the wild, cooking and becoming one with the outdoors. But wait, you need to eat to keep your inner self. This is where the Alpine kitchen sxcels. MSR has taken the guist of the normal kitchen and shunk it into a easy to carry package. Alton Brown would be pleased. It's all here, spatula, spoon, multitasking strainer. Mixing bowl and small containers to hold the "special stuff" that makes trail food stand out. The best part, is that it all fits into itself, making pack zie and weight absolutely minimum.

"A very useful and efficiently designed set"

Rating:****
This is a very useful and efficient kitchen set. The folding spoon and folding spatula work very well. I haven't found a need for the folding strainer yet, but it weighs so little I will leave it in the set until the need arises. The plastic bottles are OK for dry spices, but I would rather have seen Nalgene screw top bottles included instead of these non-descript snap-top bottles. Also the top should have a snap closure for better security when handling. In all, it is a very useful set and worth the cost.

Handy

Rating:****
Handy product. Kicked the crud out of mine, like all my gear, and like all my MSR stuff, it still keeps doing what I need it to. The container is great for scrambling eggs and mixing dry stew; not to mention it holds up to boiling water for sterilization. The inner compartment makes a great spoon/utensil rest when cooking(much better than a rock by the stove.)And the larger containers included work great for tea/coffee and sugar. The small ones are good for S+P and spices, the only problem is, which spices to take.

Great set up

Rating:****
I've had this setup for more than 10 years. In that time my wife and I did a 8 week car camping trip to Canada. We still use it. Throw in a sponge with biodegradable soap and it is all you need. Fits inside the MSR cook set. The small containers leak cooking oil so find another. Nalgene may be more secure.

Very Handy & Lightweight

Rating:****
There's actually more room in the container, so you can add lots of stuff in too, like condiments, matchbooks, even a small cloth. We've used ours for a few years and it has held up well and is easy to clean up.

"Great Love it. But should have gotten Alpine Kitchen Set"

Rating:*****
Fits perfectly in my granite Gear small dry bag. Lid can double as extra plate, used it to shake up pudding. Spoon has measurement markings also. Carry all sorts of stuff in containers. A great addition to my backing kitchen.

"Indispensable"

Rating:*****
At first sight it seem to be a luxury to have and take it, but on our 10-day trek it was one of the most important equipment. The foldable utensils, small containers full of different spices are simply indispensable

"Works like a charm!"

Rating:*****
Used it on my last camping trip to Guadalupe National Park and the foldable utensils are the best aspect of this pack. Clean up easy and fit inside the 1.5 liter pot just fine. Highly reccomend it!

Good concept, but probably superfluous

Rating:***

This was an impulse buy. I mean, who doesn't want to keep their camp kitchen neat and tidy? Besides, I love MSR.

However, I like to travel light and doubt that I will use this system next time in the wilderness. I didn't need the pasta strainer and the folding spoon broke five days into our trip. The rigid organizer kept everything in one place, but I found it difficult to use with our bear cannister. I'll probably just throw my spices in a stuff sack next time.

"Good product!"

It is useful and nice if you are camping out of your car, but not very backpacker friendly. With that said, I have to go eat.
