It Works. | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| It's interesting that other reviewers would negatively rate the product based not upon the function but rather on their decision of application. True, this little gem serves one purpose, to strain the water from your food. It is after all, a "strainer". If you want to wear your strainer on your head, this isn't the choice for you. But if you find effective pasta straining a must, then this product will make you happy. It works well, fits even the larger pots, and folds up for compact travel. | |

It strains! | |

| At 1.2 ounces this is a no-brainer to carry if you're having pasta on the trail. It makes straining simple and foolproof. I've been using mine for 4 years and have zero issues with it. It just works and works well. | |

"Great products, but spoon is most useful."

| This set is definitely useful on the trail, however I would have to say the spoon gets way more use than the strainer which can be a bit awkward. However, they are small, lightweight, and completely handy to have. | |

| Nice little spatula to add to your kitchen set. Super light and feels strong. Good for making eggs and pancakes and you can't really beat the price for something this nifty. The whole set is really useful! | |

| Fairly good. Can definitely use as a spatula with holes, if that's what you're looking for too. | |

i never use mine | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I've brought this product on a few trips and quickly realized that It's a waste of space in my pack. It only serves one function (straining water). I can use the cover of my pot to do that just as easily. i tried to double this thing up as a spatula to flip food with little success. Unless you eat pasta 3-4 times per day, I'd say skip this product and just use the cover of your pot or a bandana to do all your straining - at least those have other functions. | |

piece of junk | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Doesn't work for right handed people. Too small for anything larger than 6' pan. Don't waste your time or money... Junk is an understatement...... | |

"Could still be lightweight with a lock..."
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I got this as a three piece set, which includes a spoon & spatular. Interestingly enough the strainer doesn't have a lock to fasten and makes it a bit unstable while using it. I can understand why the designers didn't include one since the hinge is much longer than the two other but would have been nicer if it had one. | |

"neat idea, but a little gimmicky"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| a product I could have lived without. Serves its intended purpose fine, but not really needed assuming you have a lid for your pot. Fold appears a bit flimsy. | |
