Excellent Product | |

| These snowshoes are excellent for all users. They are light, packable, very durable, easy to use, and using the optional tails, are outstanding for all types of terrain. I pack the optional tails, and use the snowshoes alone in most conditions, because I want a smaller footprint that is easier to walk with. When conditions change to deep snow, I quickly attach the tails and am back in business. I consider this convertible solution to be the best when facing unpredictable conditions on a long-range snow bound backpacking trip. I weigh 200 pounds and typically carry between 20-30 pounds of gear. I'm not sure why they are called "Ladies" shoes, they are just blue instead of black. Whatever, based on the quality of these shoes, they can call them whatever they want, they will always be with me when backpacking in the snow. | |

Best Christmas Present Ever!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| My wife and I gave each other a pair for Christmas. We've used them at least once a week since then. The MSR website and the information on the snowshoes themselves regarding the correct floatation tails was conflicting. You'll need the tails specifically designed for the Evo Assents. The other tails will not fit. In the end, the 6" tails worked best for me when I've needed them. I snowshoe in NY, VT, and NH. Sometimes I take my 16-month old nephew in his Kelty kid carrier, so I'm carrying a total of 175lbs. Most of the time I'm fine without the floatation tails. Conditions this year have ranged from wet snow, to deep powder, to icy snow and these snowshoes were great in all conditions! | |

Heel Lifter is Incredible
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I used a pair of these hiking up Mt. Liberty and the Flume in the White Mountains last weekend and the heel lifter made an incredible difference. My lower legs are not nearly as fatigued as they normally are and I felt I had excellent traction with a thick top layer of ice/snow mix on the way down when it started to soften up a bit. | |

"No more slipping or sliding"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Due to surgeries I am missing several muscles in my left hip and needed a new snowshoe that would prevent painful slips by providing the best traction available. The Evo Ascents linear cleats and forefoot claw prevent me from slipping on steeper climbs and parallel ascents. I can now snowshoe virtually pain free and for longer trips. The answer to my prayers! | |

Great Snowshoes! | |

| My boyfriend has the men's version and urged me to purchase these when I was in the market for a pair. I had never used snowshoes before, but they were really easy to put on and take off. They work really well also. They have great traction and make trudging through the snow a breeze! | |
