Nice Tent | |

Maiden voyage in Mt. Wrangel St. Elias National Park in Alaska - "coldest summer in 50 years" according to the locals. We encountered some decent rain showers and the tent was very easy to assemble and kept two of us warm and dry (I'm about 6ft tall and found there was adequate space for two with some smaller gear at our feet). There was a considerable amount of condensation (very normal) but nothing managed to make its way inside the tent. I liked the dual doors so no need to crawl over your tent-mate and the vestibules were big enough to set boots, or even your whole pack underneath. It is very light for a two-man tent and would be fine for taking on solo trips as well. I have two small children and plan to use it with them later this fall.

Hubba Hubba! | |

| The footprint hugs the Hubba Hubba floor perfectly, creating a contoured protective flooring. After using my other tent for a few years without a footprint (I was still super careful not to put it on anything sharp and clean the ground I was setting it up on), I knew it was a big mistake not to purchase the footprint immediately with a new tent. So when I bought the new Hubba Hubba, I made sure to order the footprint too. And the one for my other tent too. Tarps don't work and nothing else protects the bottom of your tent floor from moisture, wear, tear, and sharp objects like a footprint. | |

Used the footprint the first time we used the Hubba Hubba tent. Fits perfectly, easy to use and very lightweight. We stayed at an established campground on our way to our backpacking trip and they had those gravel bed tent platforms. I can see the gravel indentations in the footprint but no rips/tears, anything. I was really glad the tent bottom itself was not going to be on that gravel because the Hubba Hubba bottom is pretty thin. So the footprint was essential and served us perfectly.

"Fantastic Footprint"

| This footprint came free with my purchase of the MSR Hubba Hubba and I'm glad it did! My first night out in the tent there was an awful storm and I'm glad I had the footprint with me. A normal tarp may work just as well but this thing is about a million times lighter, compresses brilliantly, and fits the tent perfectly. Definitley worth paying full retail price if you're an oz. counter!!! | |

| I was truly surprised at how light this foot print was. It is totally worth it to get this just to keep the bottom of your tent clean, puncture free and dry. MSR makes great stuff and this is no exception. It also comes in a nice little mesh bag which could have a variety of other uses, since I just rolled the foot print up with the tent. | |

| It's a footprint, there really isn't much you can do to screw it up. I highly recommend this for the Hubba Hubba model because if you are a minimalist like me you can just travel with the footprint and the rain fly and have a nice lightweight shelter. | |

| Does a good job protecting bottom of tent. Staking ropes needed a little adjustment to stake footprint and tent securely with the same stakes. Lightweight and folds up so small you could carry it in your hip pocket. | |

| works great and does what it is supposed to do, however, it seems almost a tiny bit too small, but nonetheless, it's still sweeeeeeet. moosejaw is the coolest thing since sliced bread. | |

| This is light weight and compact. Plus keeps your 300 tent free from rips/condenstation/cold ground. Overall a relatively small price to pay for keeping the hubba hubba in perfect condition!! | |

| it's nice to have a foot print. I'd rather replace the foot print a few times before replacing the tent! this one did the job. | |
