"Love this tent!!!" | |

| This is the lightest, most roomy, truly "freestanding", tent I have ever used. I've spent many a night in the white mountains of NH and have been happy to have this with me. It's been through rain, heavy wind, and one surprise snowy night. I'm 6'1" and find there's plenty of room for my boots and goodies. There are other lighter, quote, freestanding tents, but some of them still have to be tied down. How is that freestanding I ask? Easy set up and tear down. The pole is a little bulky, but to be expected with the one pole set up. I've actually had myself and a friend sit in it to cook while it was raining. Love it. | |

"excellent backpacking tent"

| I used the Hubba on a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. It was quick and easy to set up and always kept me dry in even the worst rains. I'm only 5"6 so there was more than enough room inside for me, my boots, my food bag, and whatever other little doo-dads I needed, with my pack under the vestibule. The pockets were perfect for keeping little things close at hand, like my watch, headlamp, or some toilet paper for those midnight emergencies. A great tent if you're heading out for a long haul or just for a weekend. | |

"Great tent, dont leave in your car in the middle of summer for a long time"

| I left this tent in my car trunk after a trip for a while and when I finally unpacked it the fly was totally messed up. It was all sticky on the inside and is basically worthless now, I guess I will have to contact MSR and see what we can do. Moral of story is dont leave it in extreme heat for long, it will ruin the fly. Otherwise great tent, soo easy to set up and is very roomy for a single man tent b/c of the vertical walls and all that. | |

"Perfect" | |

| This tent has been superb for my backpacking treks. I love the breathability of the tent as well as the fact that it's free standing and still exceptionally light. The freestanding aspect was important to me as there are some places I'll pitch a tent on a bare rock surface. Also, I wanted a fully enclosed tent as opposed to a tarp tent as mosquitos seem to love me. I pitched it on a rise outside of Grayson State Park up in Virginia and it held up to the winds wonderfully. Highly recommend it. | |

"Exactly what you need!!!!!"

| I was an experienced long distance hiker in need of a new tent. I have been shopping around trying to find one that is perfect. I finally decided on the MSR Hubba and not only did in meet my expectations it blew them away. First of all, it is so easy to set up and take down in all weather conditions. Also, the spacious room inside is unbeatable. But most important, the weight. Or should I say "lack of weight". Perfect for ultralight backpacking!!!! | |

"AWESOME tent!" | |

| I do a lot of canyoneering and not only does this puppy measure up to the great ol' Moss tents of my day/age, but they just seem to get better and better in design and functionality! Lightweight, durable and TOUGH against the elements that often rain down on me when I'm out in the backcountry of Southern Utah. Dude, this is a good value and can save your can from Mother Nature who we know can be a real b****! Hubba hubba! | |

| If you backpack and aren't a total sissy about weight... get this tent. I'm a girl and rock this baby out in about a 40 lb. pack. I never regret packing this tent. I've had it for two years now and it never fails me. I'm encouraging my dad to spring for one, it really is one of the lighter tents you'll find that you can actually sit up in and put some clothes on. You get my point. | |

"Pleanty of room for big people"

| I'm 6'2" tall and I can fit in this thing and have room left over, I can even sit up and have head room. Easy set up/take down, simple pole system, great amount of room in the vestibule for you bag and some other misc. items. Took it camping with me in north eastern PA in October, best damn one man I ever used. | |

"Best single person tent period."
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is one of my most favorite tents I have ever lived in for a summer. The single pole system is very well designed. It sets up quickly. Its cheaper then most tents this size and weight. The footprint with the fly make this tent very lite. Well worth it. | |
