Rock Solid!

Rating:*****
My wife and I purchased this tent with the idea of sleeping in something that would be comfortable for two, have the capacity for three, and perform well in adverse conditions.

This tent works well for TALL campers due to the fact that the vestibules are at your head and feet, allowing you to push on the tent body while stretching out without worrying about touching the fly. I'm 6' 2" and one of my backpacking friends is at least 3 inches taller than me and we felt comfortable with the dimensions even with three people.

The Mutha Hubba pitches taut with an adjustable fly that never touches the tent body nor flaps in the wind. We witnessed it's strength while camping in the grasslands of North Dakota. There we experienced strong winds in the wide open terrain along with heavy rains from thunderstorms that lasted all night. We used the optional footprint and never had any moisture inside the tent, in fact I thought that the winds had calmed until I stepped outside, I then realized just how sturdy the Mutha Hubba really was.

"The roomiest 3 man tent ever that sets up in a flash and is super hardcore"

Rating:*****
As soon as I got this tent I pitched it in my parent's living room and it took about 5 minutes. It was so fast and easy I couldn't believe how simple and easy it was to pitch this thing the first time I did it. Then, I went inside the tent for the first time and entered a magical world of joy and joyness. I'm a pretty big dude that's what she said but I fit in this thing pretty easily along with two other guys. We didn't have any gear, but it was still roomy even with the three of us inside. Seriously though, I love this tent more than my own mother. Its not the cheapest tent but you get what you pay for, this is a high quality piece of equipment and you need one. This tent will hold mor

Best investment I made for my roadtrip!

Rating:*****
This tent housed me in about 10-12 camping situations across the country on a 2 month period and is ready for more. I am a first time camper, so the ease of use was paramount for this tent! It kept me warm and dry in the Badlands during a downpour and cool and bug free in New Mexico. I also camped on the Outer Banks in North Carolina, where the winds got up to 20-30mph which led me to use my guy wires for the first time. I also just used the included stakes, which worked fine in the beach sand. I felt bad when the family next to me had their tent shredded to bits in the wind, but secretly happy that I splurged on this amazing tent.

"Awesome tent buy it!!!"

Rating:*****
This tent is like the best 3 person tent i have owned. As soon as i got it i set it up in my house and it took like, buy my self, like 5 minutes. The ventilation is good you cant like cook in there if its raining but if you open the vestibule and cook there. The loft is a little small but you can buy a really good one ( regular side pockets stow everything I can carry. Overall the tent is really good and I would but it... Wait I did P.S. if set up right and the rain fly is tightened properly you will never get wet in a hard down pour!!!

Hits the sweet spot

Rating:*****
This is a luxurious and roomy backpacking tent for two, or reasonable for 3. We fit a queen size air matress in it for car camping (just the right size). We find it very easy to put up and take down. The walls run very straight which makes it easy to use all the floor space, and the pockets are well placed. If I could change anything....I wouldn't.
Danno Gearmeister at REI on 06/23/2009

"Great material - extra roomy. Buy it."

Rating:*****
This tent is great. The three pole design makes for a ton of room inside. Two people can easily kneel and pack/unpack gear and have plenty of room for other stuff. The vestibules are as large and keep gear outside the tent protected. Doors open WIDE. a ton of configuration options - loopholes everywhere you need them. Stood up to heavy winds and rain on my last trip.
Chris at Moosejaw on 07/14/2008

"Appears to be a quality product well suited for the rigors of our adventuring family!"

Rating:****
seemingly roomy for the floor size with the steep walls, we use it for family camping with our crazy 12 yr old and it fit us well. Our first night in it we had 3 inches of heavy wet snow fall and the rig stood up well, without guying it out.

Brilliant product!

Rating:*****
This tent is great. MSR has done it again! An outstanding combination of low weight, outstanding sturdiness, and size! Big huge doors, height, and storage pockets make this tent an A+, Valedictorian, Phi Beta Kappa, Playmate of the Year, Oscar winning, must have!

I baught this tent for a trip to Yellowstone. It was great. Was happy how roomy it was for 3 people. We dipped to 29 degrees at night and rain/sleet. I was happy with how warm and dry we stayed. Great tent!
