Perfect all around pot | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This pot is great for boiling water for eat-out-of-the-bag meals but is also just the right size if you want to cook the meal in the pot. The lid is why I chose this pot because it has a vent hole as well as a lip on the pot itself so you can pour out the water. This makes pouring boiling water a breeze, plus, if you have cooked in the pot, you can also drain while keeping the lid on. Plus, there is just enough room in the lip of the pot with the lid on to slide the handle of a titanium spork through, keeping everything together. Also, there is enough room for a compact stove. Overall, it's a super light, tough little pot with a great lid. Being titanium, it cools off quickly, which has it's ups and downs. The handles also get a little warm, so be aware. There is a rubber coating on the lid handle, so that's a nice feature. | |

"It's sweet ultralight gear."

| This is the pot for me. I tried the GSI Soloist as well. The soloist is light just not ultralight like the Titan kettle. I love everything about this pot. It can cook a bag of Knor rice mix for two, and certainly has no prob with boil bags or instant anything. Its a great durable pot. The GSI has a place in my heart as well - but I prefer the kettle. The titan will not really fit a pocket rocket and a 100 msr fuel so I think thats a bit deceiving. I've tried but it wont close fully with both - I still love this pot however. | |

"Great weight & utility but minor problems."
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Overall, this is a great design if you generally just boil water for meals and drinks. It is very sturdy and the perfect size for a solo camper. However, there are two minor design issues. First, the top goes on very tight. If you need to open the pot while hot, just sit the lid on top, don’t close it or you could be in for a spill. The second issue is that the handles get warm. I use an MSR Pocket Rocket and the handles get hot when the water is boiling. I just use a bandanna to solve the problem and the handles cool quickly. | |

"Lite, Heats fast, Just remember to open handle and lift tab"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I have use this on 3 trips now, had many comments on how fast is heats and how lite it is. The only thing I wish it had is measuring marks. I can nest my cup, alcohol stove and stand (both homemade) and two 2oz. bottles of fuel inside. The stove I use is the penny stove, and the pot stand is made of old bicycle spokes connected with copper wire. I did make the stand to fit in the bottom of the pot and fit tight. | |

"Fills the bill for a solo or 2 person lightweight Ti pot."
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is a great solo pot. Has a lip to pour with and a tight fitting lid so it doesn't fall off in your soup. The handle on the lid keeps your pinkies from frying and the form is compact. Fit a butane canister and a small stove right inside and your good to go. Holds 27.74 oz and weighs in at 4.44 oz. Not the lightest pot, but excellent value to weight ratio. | |

"Great name, and it backs it up"

| Great Pot! everything you could want out of a titanium pot. strong yet light. handles that are attached to the pot are a must, no burned hands for me. and the lid is a perfect fit. doesnt come off when inside your pack and isnt to hard to take off while cooking. | |

| You need to buy the MSR Titan cup to go with it, it fits inside. Try to remember to keep the lid holder up when heating. It is light. heats up fast and easy to clean, what more can you ask for...tef | |

"it's just okay" | |

| I am not sure if the kettle I have is 2006 or 2007 model, but I just can't get MSR PocketRocket stove and the cannister to fit into the kettle as advertised. The stove has to be slightly deformed for the top to close completely. Anyways, the design of the kettle is well thought out. I like the folding handle and the stay-on top which allows water to be pour out without having to hold the top. Nice size for one-person. However, I am not sure if it is worth the cost. For a pot of this size, you don't save much weight compared to ones made of aluminum. Another negative is the lack of volume markings inside. | |
