A Must for extended trips
If you're going to be gone for awhile and will need your stove, then you need this kit. It seems a bit heavy, but it certainly lighter than a second stove. (And if you have a second stove, there is twice the likelihood that one of the two will fail, making it twice as likely that you will need to do some field repairs!)

While you're out in the field the last thing you want is to be your cooker rendered useless. With this kit you can most likely fix any problem. Don't bother buying the 'Annual Maintenance Kit'. This one has everything you need for maintenance an basic repairs. The kit (as every MSR service kit) comes within a nice sturdy box.
