Best bottle for clean nipple

Rating:*****

My favorite water bottle is now BPA free.

It fits water bottle cage on bicycle and in most auto cup holders. Lid keeps nipple clean even if dropped in the dirt, drooled on by the dog, rolling around the car floor boards, or just from road grime that flips from a front bicycle tire.

If grabbed high you can rotate the tip of your thumb into the lid release for one handed operation. It can also be rubbed against a body part (like hip) to dislodge it one handed. Nipple comes out easy with a gentle teeth pull.

Full sized ice cubes can be dropped in. I have fairly good luck with ice dispensing machines like on soda fountains / pop machines.

A bit tall to fit flat in most fridge / water jug dispensers but can be tilted in for a almost full fill up.

Can trap a bit of water under screw on lid when filling so shake it and towel it before putting it somewhere where water can out on something that matters. If traveling over mountains the pressure build up can cause it to leak if laying on its side.

Great for airports as you can empty it before going through security and then fill it up again on the other side using water fountains and ice dispensing machines at airport restaurants.

Nalgene Water Bottle for bikes

Rating:****

Good bottle. Still has a little bit of a polyethylene-like smell to it, but Nalgene products are known for the safe plastic composition. This is good, and I use them happily.

I've seen better water bottle tops. Surprisingly, the easiest feature at which to succeed should have been the top. Great bike water bottles have been around for years. Fortunately, the threads on the Nalgene bottle are pretty compatible with most existing water bottle tops (with simple and effective pull-up-to-drink feature), so the user can toss the seemingly unique-for-the-sake-of-unique design.

My favorite sport bottle

Rating:*****

I used several different types of sport bottles for my gym workouts but none compare to this one. It's lite weight, easy to use and a breeze to clean plus it BPA free. In my experience with other more expensive bottles the valves and vents all tend to trap moisture and are tricky to clean properly. So this old school sport bottle is the way to go.

Love the dust cap

Great bottle! It's the only one I use for biking anymore. The lid keeps road spray and dust off of the drinking nozzle, and it is easy to clean.

Great!

Rating:*****

Great water bottle, especially for the kids. It doesn't have BPA, it doesn't leak and is big, but not too big. Great for use at school too.

I bought this as a present for my niece. It works great because the mouthpiece stays clean and doesn't drip if she drops it.

Straight Up Sucks!

Rating:*

A Complete Waste Of $$$! I bought this specifically for cycling because it is a 22oz size. This bottle leeches a horrible plastic taste that corrodes water after only 20 minutes in very cool weather; I can't even imagine what the water will taste like in hot weather. Don't waste your money on this one because even though it is BPA Free, whatever you put in this container will surely taste like oily plastic! Disgusting! I also own the Narrow Mouth Tritan 32oz bottle and it's great; no funny tastes at all but it's too big for my cycling holder.
