Mountain Gear

Pack light without sacrificing luxury - Nemo's Nano tent uses computer technology to provide maximum strength and interior volume. The Nano's floor plan uses bold curves to reduce weight and increase wind resistance and water shedding on the tensioned walls.

Features:

  • Carry less weight with reduced fabric thanks to the efficient curves on the corners that also increase sidewall strength, wind resistance and water shedding
  • Dry out your clothes after a dip in the river - the integrated vestibule allows for extra storage space
  • Enjoy maximum interior room with the computer-optimized design that creates more usable space
  • Let your gear (and yourself) breathe through the full mesh wall
  • Note: The Spring and Summer 2008 catalogs show incorrect weight and dimension information. The specifications listed on this web page are correct.
  • Pack up into the included drybag stuff sack

"Lightweight, Packs Small and Sturdy"

Rating:****
This tent packs small. Is lightweight and very sturdy. Setup can be a little tricky but it helps if you stick one pole into the far corner of the tent and allow the pole to feed out the door. Then, grab the end of the pole that is outside and bend it in back through the door into the snap in the corner. The key is to let the pole bend out of the open door as you bend the end back inside to the corner. Once you have both pole ends in their respective corners, push the middle section of the pole into the tent. This tip from Nemo cut down setup time significantly. Excited to see the airbeams when they come out later this spring.

Best Tent Ever!

Rating:*****
I bought this tent last season. I've traveled with it to Big Sur, Black Hills, Badlands, Yellowstone, North Cascades, and Allegheny Nat'l Mts. It's a great 2-person tent, if you require minimal space. The no-rain fly waterproof design is clutch for quick setup and eliminating excess material. The interior pole design is a pain at first, but once acclimated to the process, it's effortless. Yeah...it's expensive, but I'm hoping it lasts for years.

Maybe a tad small for Shrek

Rating:*****
This tent is great! Easy set-up and light weight. I have only set it up in my living room, so soon as I take it out into the wild I will write another comment. So far I love the way it looks, and set-ups.
