Fitness Stability. The New Balance 846 is the ultimate walking shoe featuring a breathable upper and a ROLLBAR designed specifically for walking.

Upper: Synthetic mesh upper is lightweight and supportive. 3M Reflective materials provide increased visibility in low light conditions. Phantom seamless liner provides a comfortable fit and prevents irritation. Gillie lacing allows for a snug fit.

Midsole: Rollbar with medial and lateral TPU post with composite plate designed to minimize rearfoot movement (pronation and supination). When combined with TS2, it provides the ultimate in motion control. A full length ABZORB insert, New Balance's top of the line foam material with excellent cushioning and compression set properties, in the forefoot and heel with a blend of DuPont™ Engage, Isoprene rubber and proprietary materials provides the ultimate ride. Removable Ortholite insole provides breathable cushioning.

Outsole: Walking Strike Path stabilizes the foot through the walking gait cycle. N-durance outsole material is a non-marking rubber compound used for maximum durability in high wear areas. Non-marking, lightweight rubber outsole.
