I called Zappos and was connected with the running/walking advisor on what shoe to pick. She helped me pick an awesome New Balance shoe that only weighs 6.60 ounces. I requested a light weight shoe. I do not like heavy shoes. I love the gray and red combo. I really should buy another pair. I wanted a shoe for walking on my treadmill. The advisor was so helpful and spent a lot of time with me on the phone. One of the many great things about the Zappos team is they never rush you off the phone. They spend as much time with you as necessary. Nobody is sitting there watching a clock to make the sale and get you off the phone. I am hooked on Zappos customer service. Thank you gang. Pam Kelly Larkspur Colorado VIP Zappos customer

As good as sneakers get. I am someone who really dosn't like sneakers but these are a good compromise when I need to wear them for work. They are kind of snug to the foot and shaped so that they don't make me feel like I'm wearing big clunky gym class shoes. They are very light and comfortable. I have the brown ones and they are especially good because the tred and sole are not white which adds to the less-sneakery appeal. New Balance are always a half size small for me.

I ordered this shoe in the raspberry color for work and am very impressed. I'm on my feet all day, 5-6 days a week in food service and these keep my feet cool and comfortable. I love the breathable mesh uppers! Their sleek and trim design helps keep my already large feet from looking like marshmallows, as they tend to in bulky athletic shoes. My only complaint is to echo another reviewer: they are very slippery on flat, wet surfaces. Tread carefully!

Comfortable and lightweight, these are the shoes I wear at the gym. I have a wide foot, and appreciate the D width. The shoes (the Wide Version, at least) are WA790, not WR (see the helpful reviewer from New Mexico's comments). They do not have much arch support; however, if you take out the flimsy insole, there's ample room for a green Superfeet insole, which really makes a difference. I'm planning to buy another pair to wear out and about.

I hunted down this cute shoe after being unable to find my size at local shoe stores. I ordered a half size up and I'm glad I did. These are very lightweight and comfortable. I hoped the mesh would make them cooler, but it doesn't. The bottoms are very slippery on damp stone and concrete. I fell and banged up my neck and back the very first time I wore the shoes. So be careful, and enjoy them!

I have narrow feet, but with bunions (bunionettes) on the outsides of both feet. So, I need very wide toe box but narrow heel. I bought these in 9.5 wide and they fit perfectly! I'm not a runner, but I've walked 10 miles at a time in them without problems. They work well for exercise classes, too, because they are lightweight. And they are really cute; make my feet seem much smaller, too.

I wanted comfortable shoes in which I could walk for miles, and they fit the bill perfectly: they feel great, have excellent arch support, and breathe well. They're also good looking, even better than I thought they would be from the website. They do run a bit small. Someone mentioned this in the review I read, so I ordered a half size larger than usual, and they fit fine.

I purchased these shoes in grey/blue. I've only worn them twice, but so far, I love them. They are very stylish, comfortable, and light. I plan to take them on vacation with me for easy walking around, hiking, and long kayaking trips. I'm confident they'll be perfect for all that as well as walking around the city on the weekends or after work when I'm home.

I love these shoes. They are light weight to begin with and when I remove the insoles and run it is almost like I am running barefoot. Of course since these are the shoes I prefer to all others New Balance has decided to discontinue them. If you can find some in your size stock up!

I needed a very comfortable pair of shoes because I am recovering from bunion surgery. These shoes were a perfect choice. I ordered wide because my foot is still slightly swollen and I can wear these all day. I usually wear 8 but ordered 8.5 and I'm glad I did because they run a little short.

Wow, these are small! I thought I was ordering trail running shoes. I think these are track shoes. And small! These are my normal NB size, but these run really smaller and narrower. The gray and pink are so cute.

I have always loved New Balance shoes but these ones not so much. They are too lightweight for my taste and my foot seemed to move around too much inside of the shoe. I purchased them for walking and they just do not work as well as I would have hoped. The shoes definitely are not too small, but my toes seem to slide into the front of the shoe. I am used to wearing more of an athletic type New Balance shoe and I guess I should just stick with what I'm used to. On the plus side, the shoes are extremely light weight. If you are looking for a light weight shoe, these may be for you.

I love how lightweight they are, but they run small and have terrible support for my high arches. Also, and less importantly, the outer material is satiny and looks kind of tacky.
