- After learning that Stanford athletes had been training barefoot on the university's golf course, three of Nike's most innovative and creative employees set out to develop a shoe that felt natural and weightless, just like bare feet. Love! This new Free Run+ is really a hot item right now and I couldn't resist buying them! I went into the Nike store, they didn't have my size, and I was so happy to find it on Zappos! Ordered these Saturday night, and got it on Monday afternoon. love the speedy delivery! When I opened the box, the vibrant hot punch color just made me so happy! How could anyone not want to run when they have this pair! I tried them on, they are so light. compared to the Airmax ones I previously wore to run. I was concerned after reading one of the reviews about the tongue of these shoes, but they did not affect me at all. They are so comfy, and light and i love it so much!
Super comfortable for my usual 4 mile run. I skipped the Nike Free Run+ 2 but in comparison to the first Nike Free Run+, these are much better. The toe box is wider and the arch support is much lower. The interior of the shoe is super soft too. The sizing on these was fine for me and I am consistently a 7 in Nikes; however, I am between a 6.5 and 7 in most shoes. If you were a solid 7 usually, I might size up a half size. And the color is as bold as it looks, almost florescent.
Love them when not using them to work out - I can help children cross the street they are so bright.
I use these shoes for Zumba because they are light and cushion my feet as well. My knees don't hurt anymore.

I love the previous Free Run shoes. These look great and are comfortable except for one thing - the tongue is obnoxious. The previous model had a tongue that was connected and very low profile. This tongue is not connected and extends out so that it rubs your ankle with every step. You can see from the pictures. I will return and keep wearing my other Free Run shoes.
