Waterproof boot

Kayaking, scuba diving and fossil hunting on Rivers, Cliffs and the ocean requires a good waterproof boot. I found the perfect boot and tested them over Thanksgiving fossil hunting in cold water off a cliff. The best boots ever. I needed to not slip and yes I found the perfect Boot

Does the job!

I used these boots in combination with my Farmer John Grizzly wetsuit to fish MTK. My foot is a size 12 and I ordered the size 12 and it is indeed VERY SNUG! I suggest ordering at least 1 size up and if you are going to put on any type of neoprene sock, perhaps go even two sizes up. Since the material is thin, the laces will "choke" your lower calf. Support is good. Not really made for trekking over too many rocks but then again, this boot was not made so much for surf fishing in MTK. Would I buy another pair? Probably, but will want a larger size.

Nice, but with a large flaw

One wonders if the designers actually have used this boot. As noted, getting them on is a struggle yet do-able; but getting them off...as the seal forms a suction...is a royal pain! A baffled zipper just like employed on tactical boots would be a Godsend!

great BOOT!

I originally purchased the Tread 3 river shoes but they didn't have enough traction for my liking, and I needed more ankle support. I returned the booties and got the Workboot Wetshoes and they are nothing short of fantastic! They do run a little narrow as another customer stated , it would be nice if they expanded their width choices since not all feet are the same width! I wore these for the first time today on a 20 mile whitewater raft run, with the river up higher than normal and lots of technical class III's and tons of class IV rapids. These boots not only stayed put under the thwart, they provided most excellent traction in the river when putting in/taking out and the performance and comfort level was outstanding. My feet do not hurt and they were absolutely wonderful, I highly recomment these over any other river shoe.

Just what I needed

I am in the military and was looking for a shoe that I could use while running in the sand and then transition directly to the water where I could use my fins. These boots are very comfortable both in and out of the water and are exactly what I was looking for.

great boot for boundary waters canoe trip

I purchased this boot along with some .5 mil neoprene socks to use while canoeing and portaging in the boundary waters of MN. My ankles are pretty weak so I figured I needed the extra support from a boot. These boots fit really snug but only because I have narrow feet. If you have wider than normal feet I would not recommend these boots. They held up well and are extremely comfortable. A little care must be taken when putting them on and taking them off as they have a neoprene liner that fits really snug. My feet are 12.5s and I purchased the 13. It fit really snug, so I recommend getting a size bigger if you have any doubts. The ankle support was average but all in all a great boot for roughing it in wet conditions.

treated my feet good!

I found them hard to get on and off, but they fit like a glove and kept my feet warm all day. My concern is the booty liner inside the shell of the boot. How long will they last after all the pulling and tugging on them to get the boot on and off?

Good for the price

Used them for a six day canyoning expedition in Mexico. They were nice and warm but my feet shifted around a little in them even though they were the right size. Sole started to separate on 5th day of expedition but I have to say they we were doing serious canyoning and hiking in very rough terrain. The quality could be better but they are good for the price.

A bit tight

Overall quality is excellent. Just a bit narrow for my foot.
