Northern River Supply Canine Flotation Device

Backcountry.com

Don't leave your four-legged friend behind when you go on a river trip. Just grab the NRS Canine Flotation Device to ensure your dog stays above the water. NRS built this doggy life jacket with a top handle to help you pull your furry pal back into the raft, and a zippered pocket holds a leash to keep it accessible when you reach the beach. Thanks to burly 1000D Cordura construction, the Canine Flotation Device can also take the abuse of being pulled through bushes and rocks when your dog decides to chase a squirrel through camp.

Rock/Creek Outfitters

Wide, soft under-straps for comfort; durable grab loop and leash ring for security. A zippered pocket for a leash, snacks, etc. The red model of the C.F.D. has reflective safety tape for visibility.

Piece of mind

The small size fit my 21 lb westie perfectly. The straps allow for a lot of adjusting. He doesn't seem to mind it too much. I'm very pleased with it.

Little brother had to get one too...

We got one of these for our golden, who would live in the water if he could. We simply cannot keep him out of the water without tying him down. This jacket was a great solution to our problem. Now it doesn't matter how tired he gets! We just bought a second for our lab for this upcoming summer. The hook on the back of the jacket works great for lifting into the boat too. A great product, two thumbs up!

Awsome

I bought two of them one for my Rott and one for my shelty. Best thing I ever did, Both dog's swam but were alittle afraid and now with the jacket's they just jump in and take off. They are very well made and support the dog's better than I expected

We love the grab handle which is invaluable when hoisting a big wet dog into the raft. We like the vest, although the dog doesn't seem to so much, but hey, he's a dog. No complaints

Open water swimming with my lab

I'm a triathlete and I go out for open water swims with my lab, Frank. I love it when she swims right beside me, but I found that when we'd get out a good distance from the shore, even though she's a born waterdog, she'd panic a little bit and try to crawl up on me. It wasn't a huge problem, but it disrupted my stroke and her nails put holes in my wetsuit. So I bought her her own "wetsuit" to give her a little extra confidence in the water. It's very adjustable so it fits well around her little body and there's a great pocket in the back for her ball. Now I can swim for miles and not have to worry about her or my wetsuit.
