What a surprise!

Rating:*****
What a surprise these shoes were! I had never heard of this brand and was hesitant to buy them. But after reading the review I decided to try a pair. I couldn't be happier. They are great quality and appear to be sturdy and long lasting. They were comfortable right out of the box with no breakin necessary. I went for a long walk/hike right away and was never aware of my feet other than to be pleased with the comfort, traction, stability and good looks of the shoe. In fact, my daughter-in-law was so impressed with them that I ordered two pairs (different models) for her as a birthday present. Where has this brand been hiding??

Love, love, love these shoes!

Rating:*****
These shoes were very comfortable from the moment I put them on. I have had them about 10 days and have walked many miles in them already. The support is fantastic. I no longer feel the aching and tiredness in my legs while walking. They keep my feet dry and warm too. I live in the midwest and have been walking in really cold snowy conditions. However I believe they will be just as comfortable during the summer months and plan to take them along this winter when we travel to warmer climates. I am between sizes 61/2 and 7. I found the 7 to be just right. Try them! You'll love them too!

LOVE these shoes!

Rating:*****
I bought these shoes based on other customer reviews, and am not disappointed at all! I need a shoe with an ample toe box, yet is still properly snug at the heel. I adjusted the laces when I first received the shoes, and they fit perfectly! I have arthritic feet and knees, so need lots of comfort and support, since I walk to work, shopping and nearly everywhere. These shoes provide the pronation support and comfort to help my arthritis. They didn't need any break in. I haven't tried them for a long period in wet weather, but they worked very well in the short walk I had in the rain. 100% satisfied.

Cool shoes

Rating:****
I have three dogs and live in a townhouse so I'm outside a whole lot no matter what the weather, so I need comfortable, waterproof shoes. I have not worn them outside yet but they feel great on. Frankly, it's been so muddy I don't want to get them dirty yet! They are slightly tight but I wear very bulky socks in the winter, so that is probably why they feel a little snug. I'm sure they will break in with the thicker socks or I can just wear thinner socks. Love the look and they appear to be very well made.

Great Product

I have a pair of orthotics that I wear in all my shoes. At first I ordered a 1/2 size larger to accomodate my orthotics, but found them too big. When the smaller size came I inserted my orthotics and have worn them every day for the last week. They provide plenty of support to the footbed. Although a little stiff at first, they are breaking in nicely. I had never heard of the Oboz brand, but they're great and love how they look!

Anatomically Correct is apparent

Rating:****
This is a great shoe. However the shoe is designed differently you will feel the difference immediately. This shoe encourages your footing away from the heel. The toe bed is narrow, but not uncomfortable. The shoe is stiff enough to give you stability. There is no ankle support if you need ankle support look for another pair. I would definitely buy this shoe and brand again.

LOVE these shoes

Rating:*****
I am a hiking shoe fanatic and this is my first experience with this brand. I am IN LOVE! Good support, no break in time, visually a top pick of all the shoes I've owned - in fact a top pick all around. Good room in the toe box. Just great, hope to see more Oboz on Sierra Trading Post!

I will purchase other Oboz products.

I am on my feet all day and these shoes are very comfortable with plenty of cushion. They are also very useful for hiking or just walking around town. Now with the holidays coming to an end and the usual New Year's resolution to get in better shape, these shoes will be an important part of that.

Great shoe!

Rating:****
Wore them right out of the box to walk three dogs in rainy weather. Great soles and traction. Still a little stiff but they do provide good stability. Fine on pavement but they let water in when walking through wet grass. Should be great for light trail hiking and mountain biking.

Great shoe

Rating:*****
I am impressed with these shoes. They have a good stiff sole that seems like it will handle the roughest trails with ease. The toe box is wide enough for my wide foot, and there is no slippage in the heel. I will definitely look for Oboz in the future.

Disappointed - Looks good but too small

Not able to rate -- one full size too small. Had to return.
