| Fast favorites! I'm lucky enough to wear sandals at work so I've got 'em on all day, everyday, year round. Recently ordered six (6) pair of flips in assorted styles - Sanuks, Clarks, Tevas, etc - and kept three. Had never heard of Ocean Minded before yet, hands down, these were my favorite. The pre-molded footbed is comfy straight out of the box; these are THE pair of flips for Birkenstock lovers. Very water friendly, too. The only (minor) complaint I have is that although comfortable there isn't much cushioning in the heel so these are not the right sandals if you're on your feet all day or walk a lot. After 8 hours, or a couple miles, you'll wish you were wearing Crocs instead. Short of that, you'll be happy and lookin' good in these. | |

| Fantastic - This is by far my favorite pair of sandals I have owned. I have had them for about a month now and they fit, look, and feel perfectly. Because the Southern Baja is slightly form fitted, they become more comfortable than most shoes I have ever had, unlike most flat rubber sandals. I can tell these are going to hold up for a long time and I trust no one more than Zappos for online purchases and policies. Thanks so much Zappos, you will be hearing positive things from me again soon. | |

| I am enjoying these sandals greatly. I was slightly concerned initially as they seem a bit oversized, about 1/2 size. As such, mine are loose fitting. However, the slight ridge behind the toes and the clear arch support keep them on my feet without any effort. I had no hot spot/blisters develop during the initial everyday wear period. In all, I am very happy with the comfort and look of these sandals. Also, Zappos did a great job with a quick shipment and excellent follow up. Thanks! | |

| Southern Baja or Hawaiian Isle! I originally found this sandal at the Billabong store in Waikiki and loved the look. Then after spending two weeks wearing it around the island and on the beach... I fell in love with the comfort. Who knew?? :-) I give it high marks for style, comfort, and the way it brings back the memories of my Hawaiian vacation. I am glad I was able to find another pair to wear for everyday back home in Ohio. Thnx Zappos.com | |

| Amazing - These are quickly becoming my favorite pair of sandals ever. I've had reefs, rainbows etc... but these are in a league of their own. Very comfortable, very durable. They may run a little small though. I normally wear a 12 and even had a previous pair of ocean minded sandals that fit at size 12, but the southern Baja 12 was just a little too small for me. | |

| A perfect flip-flop - I got these for my 19 year old son who has never been a flip-flop wearer. I wanted to find a super comfortable, low-profile, well-made sandal that he would put on and love from the first moment. These were exactly the right ones - they look and feel nicely worn in right out of the box. A perfect summer wear-all-day sandal. | |

| Finally, comfort - I got these because of what the company stood for, and I didn't want Rainbow sandals, which are all the rage. These sandals are the most comfortable pair that I've owned (Doc Martens, Clarks, Teva, and Chaco). At first the arch support is unusual, but after a few days it becomes a welcome treat. I highly recommend these. | |

| Great sandal, the only reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because it takes a few days to break in and the leather at first is very tough that after a few minutes of walking, they can become uncomfortable. That said, after a few wears, they are soft and comfortable to walk at the beach all day. | |

| These are very nice-looking and comfortable. Other reviews said that they ran large, so I ordered a size 8, even though I'm an 8 1/2. They dont run large, so I'm exchanging them for a pair in size 9. Zappos customer service -- friendliness, price, speed of delivery, ease of exchange -- was, as always, exemplary. A pleasure. | |

| The Baja is now my favorite flop ever - They were a little stiff to start but they broke-in in about two weeks and now I dont take them of unless I have to even when walking around the house and they look just right in the color department which I was worried about. Love them! | |

| Great style and look, poor quality. I bought these five months ago while I was backpacking around Australia. After breaking them in for a few days they were great flip flops. After 5 months of average use, they really started to come apart. The color on top of the flip flop started showing wear and turning different shades of brown. The heel started to wear really thin and the canvas strap in between the toes gave out in a spectacular blow out while walking around Waikiki. Great style, great colors, pretty comfortable, but durability is severely lacking. Will go back to Reef sandals. | |

| Ocean Minded Black Flip Flop - I love these shoes. Other than learning to walk with your feet constantly arched they're great--they look good with both jeans and khakis and are very comfortable. My complaint is the fit--they're way too loose, the straps are too high and they don't attach back far enough to keep them on your feet. I always loose a shoe walking/falling up steps. Compared to other flip flops they are a bit heavy so they don't want to stick to your feet the way thin rubber flip flops do. I'd advise the manufacturer to make the straps attach farther back on the foot bed and reduce the height above the foot bed so that they wear into rather than out of size. | |

| Beach use only - Caveat emptor! These are great looking flaps and felt fine while walking on carpet and other soft surfaces. A couple of hours on hard surfaces were a totally different experience! I've had ankle surgery and these caused more pain than any sandal/shoe I've worn in the last 15 years. Replaced them with a pair of OluKai Kumus which while more expensive, are certainly worth the pain relief. And of course, Zappos simply rocks! | |

Have had better fitting sandals

I initially ordered a size 8 (I normally wear an 8 1/2) but it was a tad small. Returned those for a size 9, but these are too loose. I suppose I should have stayed with a size 8 - I've had better fitting sandals. The quality is great, just having issues with the fit - unfortunately, they don't come in 1/2 size increments.
