The Iron Gym Xtreme total upper body workout bar can be attached and removed from your door frame in seconds, with no drilling or fasteners required. Great, but not for all. . .

| This product is very nice, very sturdy. However, it would not work in my condo. I have very thin walls, aprox 3". I really liked this product and was looking forward to using it so I am pretty bummed. I found the ideal door sizes and put them below so people can save their time.... it won't work if your door doesn't fall in these ranges. I did find an good alternative after searching and searching. This is great for those who travel too. Lifeline Power Up Chin-up. Needed Door Size... 1) Face molding around door: minimum 1 1/2" - maximum 3 1/2" 2) Molding distance from wall: minimum 1/4" - maximum 3/4" 3) Wall thickness: minimum 4 1/4" - maximum 6 1/4" (trim to trim). | |

| I've been using the Iron Gym Extreme for a year now and it as done wonders for me and hasn't made a scratch on my doorframe. My wife didn't want me to buy one because she was afraid that it would damage our doorframe. Sure glad it didn't cause if it did I wouldn't hear the end of it! Pretty surprised about that too cause I have a cheaply made house, and I'm 210 lbs. I think the builder is Legacy or something. Well, anyway this thing will tone your upper body up! | |

sturdy, convenient, cheap

| You get what you pay for. But for what i paid for it, it's definitely worth it. Nice and sturdy, and i like the wide grip, do not get the regular version without the wide bars. That said, make sure if you do get teh Xtreme version (wide bars), be sure to measure your doorway because it extends beyond the horizontal measure of the door frame. Another thing is it'll leave marks on the side door frames. But that can easily be avoided by adding extra padding at the contact points. | |

| i got this to use with P90X and is almost the same as the one they want you to get. i just started using it but can tell that it is really going to work. it is very easy to setup and is sturdy on the door frame. just make sure that it will fit your door width. over all a good piece if equipment and would recommend it to anybody that really wants to strengthen there upper body | |

| I use the Iron Gym Extreme on a daily basis (when I can't get to the gym, need to do something to help me think, and just because...). It's easy to use and set up. | |

Great for Push ups....but
| Rating: | ![]() |
| ...may not be enough support in door frame for heavy adult. better used for sit ups and push ups where there is not weigh on door frame. | |
