An Essential Pack Add-On! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I recently purchased a fairly minimalist Osprey pack and was looking for accessories to increase it's functionality. This little holster was at the top of my list, and I haven't been disappointed. It attaches securely to any pack's shoulder straps with very minimum set up. The cross-body support strap doesn't get in the way like I thought it might - it's hardly noticeable. The ability to adjust the size of the holster for nearly any bottle is exceptional as well. It will hold anything from larger than a typical 1L Nalgene bottle, to smaller than a typical "disposable" 500ml bottled-water. It would likely do well with irregular shaped containers like flasks as well. The elastic retention loop keeps the bottle securely in place even when moving around and hanging at odd angles. Most often, I end up using this by itself on my nightly walk in the park with my dog. I can strap most of our supplies (treats, bags, etc.) onto the belt, and have her water bottle tucked neatly into the holster. The price seems a little high, but for the use I get out of it, and it's flexibility to adapt to a variety of purposes, I think it was worth it. The materials and construction quality are top-notch as well. | |
