"Great bag easy to use, fits everything and great for any student. Love the color!"

| I am in love with this bag, and so are those around me. In fact someone commented the first day how he was considering breaking up with his wife in order to marry bag at which point i promotly told him that i was already planning on breaking up with my boyfriend to marry the bag. Fortunately my boyfriend and I were able to resolve the issue and we're all in a happy little relationship! Every aspect of the bag is a joy. The adjustable strap is easy to well, adjust. Which I do often depending on if I'm just running to class or lounging around. It fits my laptop perfectly as well as my calculus, english lit., and psychology text books along with my various parts to the computer such as spare ba | |

Great lightweight laptop pack
| Rating: | ![]() |
| The Osprey Elroy is a lightweight laptop pack made out of environmentally friendly materials, which is a great thing about it. The laptop is generously protected by two cushioned walls that are sturdy but not heavy. There's lots of room of peripherals that go with my laptop, flashdrives, cables, etc. There's a firm sleeve for papers that need to be carried around as well. The bag is chockful of pockets and compartments for all sorts of office supplies and doodads females carry around. The zipper on the top flap make it extremely easy to access the laptop on a whim. The shoulder strap is also amply cushioned so that I do not feel the 6-pound weight of this piece of working equipment. It's a nice bag to have around and work with. | |

"Huge. Like a cave." | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Everyone is spot on. This is a spectacular bag. It's a bit like a cave system: enormous, with like eight different ways to get to the main cavern and you'll find a new one every time you open it. It fits a 15.4' laptop well, but not snugly. The easy open zipper on the back is genius and allows pretty good access to the main compartment. I've been able to pull out a textbook past my laptop. It gets a little fiddly when the bag is crammed full, but day-to-day I don't even begin to cram this bag full. Redwood color is more rust-orange than red. There is a velcro patch to keep the flap closed, in addition to the buckles. | |

"Bottomless pit of fun!"

| This bag is awesome. I initially held off buying it because I'm basically cheap. However, I don't mind shelling out some dough for an item that I'll use every day, that's well-made, and does what it's supposed to do without complaining. This bag does all those things and more, folks. Thoughtfully designed with top zippered access to the laptop and the inside of the bag, comfy shoulder pad, plenty of pockets, slots, and secret compartments for all my crap, this sucker is easy to get up to a gazillion pounds in no time. Plus, it's got the iron-clad Osprey warranty, AND the raw material for the fabric manufacturing is sourced from recyled materials. You gotta love it. | |

So far so good | |

| I initially purchased an Osprey Astro pack but upon receipt found it to be a bit too small so I returned it for the larger Elroy. What a great bag. Two things I definitely wanted in a bag: Ability to easily remove the PC at the airport and the waist strap for when I ride the motorcycle to work. I haven't been to the airport yet but the strap is great for keeping the bag in place on the cycle. Plenty of room for my Lenovo with the 15.4 screen and all the other stuff I carry. Design and construction are first rate and the materials seem durable. I'd buy another if I ever need one. | |

perfect for laptop/school/work
| Rating: | ![]() |
| i ordered this bag and received AMAZING customer service on the phone. the guy helping me was so helpful and quick. the bag itself is perfect and perfectly secure for my 17" mac, holds many many books as well as cords and anything else from paperclips and pens to two water bottles and even more cords and writing utensils and books. the strap is comfortable, the color is great [mine is a beautiful green], durability is out of this world, and the icing on the cake is...it's at least 70% recycled material. the buckles are so neat [also recycled!], AND i get a ton of compliments on it. love it! just what i needed. | |

"It made me leave my trusty Crumpler that I'd left my Timbuk2 for"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Buy it and love it. This bag's pretty awesome - light, sturdy, and looks great. That black panda color - it has some really black parts, like a panda. Plenty of pockets, zippers, and a neat, adjustable strap. Unlike my old Timbuk2 Commute, the mesh side pockets are actually big enough hold a water bottle. Unlike my Crumpler Horseman, there's somewhere to stash the excess strap. The bag also doesn't feel as heavy as others when loaded down (for those of you who can't read between lines, that means it distributes weight better - Bwahaha!). Great bag - oops, gotta get back to work - here comes my boss. | |

I'm so impressed with the look & functionality of this bag!

| I've looked for months to find an ecologically-minded messenger bag for my laptop and man, did I choose the right one. I just got back from traveling with this bag and my 17" laptop. This bag has everything I needed to stay organized on my trip. The separate zipper for easy laptop access made the airport security a breeze to go through. My only complaint is that the velcro on the front can be a bit loud at a meeting when opening it. I would try to have it open before a meeting started. I can't wait to put it to more use! | |

Just Right | |

| I purchased the Osprey Elroy Shoulder Bag for my wife to use for school. She's very happy with it. She especially likes how her Toshiba 17 inch laptop feels stable inside it. She's also mentioned that the shoulder strap feels very comfortable and the briefcase-style handle comes in handy all the time. She says that the bag offers plenty of room for her books and a variety of other things too. Chalk this up as a successful gift purchase. Sometimes I'm not so lucky. | |

Excellent choice | |

| I'm a picky consumer, and the Elroy made my day. Well worth the money spent. Fits my 15" Macbook pro easily (in a neoprene case). I was looking for a bag with some rigidity so loose papers wouldn't curl, and this bag has a mesh divider that keeps papers from curling. It has plenty of room with pockets and dividers, and holds all computer accessories with ease. Smart design, thoughtful features, and well made. Highly recommended. | |
