The Osprey raptor 10 is a compact, lightweight hydration pack for hiking and mountain biking. Its 10 liter capacity is perfect to bring along the essentials and this bag has a top pocket and a stretchy front pocket. It even has clips for organizing bike tools. Great pack
Very thoroughly thought out design. I love the many pockets and the dividers, it allows me to put everything in its place. Some may find the pack a bit thick but it's designed so a full bladder doesn't cramp everything else. It's 2 separate compartments-one for bladder and one for cargo.
I also like the aerated straps and many nice features like the ribbed back for ventilation and a MP3 pocket as well as a helmet strap.
It's slightly bigger than my old Blowfish but a way better design. It stays put on your back because it has a stiff backing inside the pack to help keep it in place(and aid ventilation), no shifting while descending.
Comes with a 3 liter bladder and a nice bite valve that has good flow. A built in shut off valve is activated by turning the bite valve straight and there is a strong magnet to hold the end of the hose onto the chest strap.
I would have given it 5 stars but thought some may find it too bulky.
This would also make a nice small day pack with about 600 cu inches of storage(10 liters).

Great Hydration Pack!!!!
I have used this pack 3 times now, and let me tell you, it has been great.... I was using a regular Camelbak, that was just a bladder in a canvas pack on my back, I had to actually rig a small M.O.L.L.E pouch onto it to carry anything else with me on my trail runs, Since I have this pack though, It holds everything I need and then some. It has been and I am sure it will be my goto pack from now on for anything I do Outdoors that requires Hydration....
Great Pack
This is a great pack for mountain biking not too big, not too small. Pack easily fits all mountain biking needs includeing: extra tube, pump, tire levers, allen wreches, multi tool, flash light, cell phone, 3L of water, with room for an extra shirt or whatever you want. I LOVE the magnet on the water bladder tube so simple yet I don't know why other companies have not thought of this. I even took this pack on a day hike and it worked awesome love how light it is.
I bought the Viper before and returned it for the Raptor and I could not be happier. I was looking for a day hiking pack and this fits the criteria. The thicker hip straps are crucial for all day wearing comfort. It is probably at over 10 pounds when I start the day with all my food and water and the straps really keep the pack more comfortable.

I love this pack. I have a longer torso and I'm tall (5'11"), and I looked around quite a bit to find one that fit me correctly. I avoid women specific packs for this reason also. Has my top things for a day hike: comfort and hydration.

Perfectly awesome
This pack is perfect for day rides or hikes. It is a good size, fill it with water and a light layer if it gets cold. It also has a key loop pocket. The helmet holder is super cool and on the hip belt there are some more non zipper pockets. All around great small pack for just what you need for a day out
