Osprey Raptor 6 Reviews:

This is a great bag. I consider it an upgrade for my camelback blowfish which I have had for a few years. I like the size of the Raptor 6, I like the hydration bladder which stays flatter than any of the camelback's that I have used. Also, I love the tool (removable) pouch and the extra pockets around the waist band. I have only taken it on a couple of rides, but it seems solidly built so I imagine I will be using it for years.
I liked this so much, I bought the Viper 6 for my wife and she loves it as well. It is definitely a well made backpack. I use it for mountain biking, but my wife uses it for hiking, it works fine for either activity.

This pack is super comfortable. I love that it holds three Liters of water as I tend to drink a lot. I don't feel that this gets me as sweaty as some other packs I have tried. The lidlock took a minute to figure out, but is a really cool feature that is low profile enough that if unused is really not noticed at all.

I've been biking with this pack around Utah for ~2 years now, and it's still solid. I toss it around quite a bit, and have only observed some slight wear-and-tear around the zippers. Perfect for short excursions around the Wasatch , but falls just short for longer days in the desert - my next purchase will be the larger version (Raptor 10/14 etc).
