| I tried a couple dry packs before and both were heavy and bulky and weren't very water tight. This Outdoor Research pack beats them all! I had it on my back for a day-long river hike (IN the river, not along the river) where I was swimming for most of the day. It was not only airtight, it was actually buoyant... gave me a little flotation assist when I was tired of swimming. Then I took it on a river rafting trip and it was totally doused but again completely dry inside. | |
