Reduce the bulk of sleeping bags and clothing in your pack to their absolute minimum with Ultralight Compression Sacks from Outdoor Research. Made of siliconized nylon, these sacks are weather-resistant enough to be stored outside your pack if need be.

This lightweight compression sack reduces sleeping bags and other stuffables to a pack-friendly size. The silnyl fabric resists moisture and slides into your pack with ease. A pocket in the end cap keeps track of small items or can be used for self storage.

The Ultralight Compression Sacks from Outdoor Research are made of a durable ripstop silcone and nylon blend that managed to remain super lightweight, despite all of it's durability.
Compression sacks used to weigh twice as much as other stuff sacks. That time has passed thanks to the Outdoor Research UltraLight Compression Sack. Even the largest size (which is bigger than an average daypack) weighs under six ounces. Outdoor Research uses four compression straps to help cram your sleeping bag into a spot half of its normal size.

Great Compression | |

I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a compression sack. I grabbed a 15L one, and was a bit skeptical that my -20 Hybrid bag from MEC would fit, but somehow, this sack just kept swallowing it up. It got a bit tight near the end, making it a little difficult to stuff in, but she fits, and compresses down pretty small. I had problems with the MEC suppled sack as it wouldn't fit in any but my biggest packs, so this is great, taking it down to a size that will easily store in my Osprey 33L, or my BD 30L. There is a small pocket on the inside of the top portion, which I find no use for other than stowing the sack into, but some people might find it handy. The material is pretty light weight, and while I trust it to hold my bag while in my pack, I wouldn't want to hike with it outside my pack, since I feel light material punctures and rips way easier than some companies advertise. Pretty water resistant, but not waterproof. | |
