The Pacific Outdoor Equipment InsulMat Hyper-Lite Women's Sleeping Pad combines the light weight and high thermal values of closed-cell foam with the comfort of open-cell, self-inflating mats. P.O.E placed the self-inflating insert at the hip and shoulder area for support where it really counts. Then they wrapped the insert in a highly insulative closed-cell foam body for warmth from head to toe. Specifically for women, this Hyper-Lite has extra supportive dot-cut foam in the hip area, so say goodbye to hard ground jabbing at your bones. While the valve placement might look strange, it's actually the result of careful designing. At the top of the head, the valve stays out of the way when you roll over, and it also integrates more efficiently with the open-cell insert.

Get the best of both worlds with this comfortable sleeping pad—soft inflatable cushion and lightweight, high R-value closed-cell foam.

The 3 season Hyper Lite by Pacific Outdoor is a definitive Women's pad which delivers warmth and comfort in a light weight package, sized and featured specifically for a women.

My Wife's Good Nights Rest
| Rating: | ![]() |
Last year, my wife and I traveled to Joshua tree and enjoyed a great trip climbing and sleeping under the stars. On my last night, we bedded down after dark, and I work up half way through the night with a popped pad. The foam on the bottom of my wife's pad kept hers protected. Pretty sweet idea, she was happy that she had the hyper pad.

Eh.... it's ok. | |

I have used this pad about a dozen times since I received it last May 2008, and I have not been very happy with it. It is no good for anyone that doesn't sleep on their back. I am a side-sleeper and it is extremely uncomfortable because it provides very little support for my hips, which then causes me to thrash around, which then causes me to get no sleep, which then causes me to be grumpy in the morning. I wouldn't recommend it for stomach sleepers either. Good points include the fact that it's very lightweight (only about 17oz) and it has neat colors.
