A failsafe design that doesn't require inflation, rolls up small, and is lightweight, the Pacific Outdoor Equipment SL Lite Sleeping Pad is constructed with a EVA/PE sandwich and cut in a streamlined mummy shape for simple comfort on the trail and in the backcountry.
The Pacific Outdoor Equipment InsulMat SL-Lite Sleeping Pad takes the innovations of the Hyper-Lite series pads and applies it to an even lighter weight, full closed-cell foam pad. Combining PE foam and EVA shoulder and hip inserts, the SL-Lite provides added cushioning and warmth to crucial areas. At a mere 12.5-ounces, this three-season mat provides a level of lightweight comfort the backcountry has never witnessed.
The Pacific Outdoor Equipment SL-MTN Sleeping Pad uses a half-inch closed-cell foam to keep weight down and a warm EVA section to provide extra warmth to your core. Though it only weighs 13.5-ounces, this Pacific Outdoor Equipment pad provides enough insulation for everything from winter camping to mountaineering trips. Plus, you don’t have to worry about puncturing it like you do with inflatable pads.

The SL-Mtn sleeping pad by Pacific Outdoor features 4 Season closed cell comfort. Winter specific insulation with a thicker EVA foam section the SL MTN will make you forget that there is snow all around you. Red EVA insert under the shoulder and hips drives your thoughts toward fiery hot.

My Favorite Pad | |

I have been using this brand of pad since 2005, and I have used it far more than any other pad I have owned. That being said, the SL Lite is an ultralight pad and probably isn't going to give you the comfort or warmth you get from a bulkier pad "3 season".

Quite adequate. Nothing to fail.

While the others inflated their air mattresses, I rolled mine out and kicked-back. Later, when they realized that one had an irrepairable leak and then tried to share one between two campers, I was comfortably resting.

my back hurts | |

I bought a different model but is very similar in thickness and design to this pad. I thought it would be excellent because it was lightweight and inexpensive. I'm now shopping for something else. I just got back from deer hunting because I couldn't take another night waking from back pain. I need a new pad before I can go back out for the rest of my hunt. I would go to bed around 9pm and get up around 5:45 am and I still felt tired because I didn't sleep well.

Not a main pad | |

This is thin, hard foam. I got this for extra protection, already owning an insulated inflatable pad. It helps keep stuff dry and makes a good floor mat for tents and is extremely light weight.

not too bad... | |

i think with this pad, you get what you pay for. Its not real thick, so when camping spots were a little rocky-you definitely felt them. But it wasn't too bad, i was wantin something inexpensive cause i can sleep through a hurricane.Sooo, its not the best pad but its tough, light, and cheap. its totally your preference-read a lot of reviews,i'd recommend it if you sleep easy.
