Easy to put on and to take off, with the help from the full front zipper that is backed by a fleece wind flap. This Baby Synchilla Cardigan made by Patagonia is great alone, or as a layer and it is made from recycled and recyclable fleece. Patagonia is thinking ahead to the future and what our environment needs. There is a Spandex binding at the hood and sleeve openings for a secure and comfortable fit. There are fully flat seams to eliminate any kind of chafing, or any unpleasant rubbing. we've bought every size since son was newborn (now 2). we use the vest indoors (in Vt) all winter over jammies or play clothes. the jacket runs true to size but our son is on the upper end of the growth chart (35lbs at 2). You do not need to buy larger as with most baby clothes. the fleece repels stains - we've never had a spill that didn't wash out. I usually buy up at end of season knowing he will wear the next size the following season (18 mos spring, 24 mos winter). we hand down the fleece and they come back in great condition). Note - the puffball jacket did not cover his belly- too tight and too short, but the fleece cardigan and vest are perfect | |

I got this fleece for my 6 month old for Christmas, and got the 12 month size for a bit of growing room- it's HUGE!! (she wears at least 9 month clothes already) I'm hoping it will fit next winter, although we do use it some and it is so warm and cozy! Great for the outdoors in the frigid weather. I have a friend who had a similar issue, so I'd err on the side of small. Hope this helps. | |

We have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and purchased a size 3 and an 18 month. Both girls wear clothes true to their size and these jackets were a little on the big side. BUT we are happy with that because the jackets will fit them next year and will definitely save us money! | |

Very well made cardigan but the fit leaves something to be desired. My baby is almost 4 months old and the 3 month size is way to big. The arms are about 4 inches to long, and I cannot zip it all of the way up because the neck of the cardigan is to small for her neck! I have to leave it zipped down about 3 inches. I am hoping that as she grows this will fit. | |
