Excellent Casual Business/All Around Shoe
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I am a 20+ year Patagoniac but have never owned a pair of Patagonia shoes. Prior to purchasing the Balsams, I had tried many offerings from other manufacturers (Merrell, Rockport, etc.) and have found all the others lacking in meeting the challenge of everyday use at the office and all the running around that occurs after hours. Each one has worn out in a matter of months - worn through soles, torn up edges, broken stitches and delaminating rubber, to name a few ailments. In contrast, while I have only had these for a few months, they are standing up extremely well - the soles are showing little sign of wear, the uppers are looking fine, the tread provides excellent traction in all kinds of weather, plus they are the best looking and most comfortable shoes of this type that I have found. Looks like my devotion to Patagonia products has entered a new arena. If you are looking for the best business casual/all around shoe, buy these . . . I don't think that you'll regret it. By the way, I found them to run true to size. | |

comfortable; sole didn't last

| These shoes have been main shoes for the last several months. They are very comfortable for walking around town and light hiking. My only complaint is that the sole has completely worn through in the heel after only a few months of regular wear. I hoped to be able to wear them on and on, but now I have to retire them. | |

Very Satisfied | |

| These are the first shoes I've worn by Patagonia. Like everything else they make, it looks great and feels just right. This is an extremely comfortable shoe. Almost like a moccasin in that you barely notice there are shoes on your feet. | |

Third pair of Patagonia's I have had. Love these, wear them all day and forget to take them off at night. Soles are supper grippy and look great with jeans.

too wide for super narrow foot

| I liked the looks of these and overall, I've bought a few pairs of Patagonia shoes. But these were a bit too wide, so sent them back. | |
