Patagonia Bandha Top is cute and technical.
| Rating: | ![]() |
I bought this top primarily for Bikram (hot) yoga and I love it. The fit on the Bandha is very flattering, even for those of us with less than flat tummies, and it is still form-fitting. It offers good coverage for bending over moves. It does not have an internal shelf bra, which is good for me as I often don't fill them out. It's a great length, and doesn't ride up when I stretch up. The Patagonia fabric is great for hot, sweatty yoga. I'm 5'4" 135 lbs. (lots of my weight in my legs) with about a 35" chest, and I have the medium which is perfect. I do find that some sports bras poke out just a little bit above the V neck, but very little shows and I think it still looks fine. I highly recommend this top, and would even wear it as normal wear on hot summer days.

Bandha rocks! | |

| I am quite large busted (DD) but have a somewhat athletic physique. I own one Bandha top and love it for the following reasons: although it is quite revealing, it is never vulgar, it is roomy on top (even though mine is a small!), it is longer than any other tee-shirt I own, it stays in place (does not ride up) due to the type of fabric it is. It is essentially the same thing as the Bandha dress, which is owned by three of my friends-we all have very different body types ranging from s-l, small to large chested and narrow-large hipped, the dress looks great on every one of us. I would and do recommend this shirt to any girl. | |

Versatility Plus | |

| I had a shorter one of these tops that I had to tug down constantly, though I loved it. This one is completely to my liking, much easier to wear as it stays in place and is amazingly flattering. I am 5'6" and 120 pounds and between a small and a medium. I bought the medium and am delighted that there is NO gap in the armholes and an absolutely perfect fit. It is modest while at the same time being a bit sexy. I have worn it to exercise classes, yoga, teas, and a rehearsal dinner. Yes, it goes EVERYWHERE. I hope Patagonia never stops making this one and has new color choices each year. | |

Really Improved | |

| I have always liked the bandha top but didn't buy it until this season because it was too short. It's now a great longer length. The fabric is buttery soft (brushed on the inside) and not too shiny. It is also surprisingly flattering even with my broader shoulders. I have seen it on a number of women in my yoga class and it suits a variety of body types and chest sizes. I'm a small C and feel pretty comfortable in it with or without a bra because the fabric is just thick enough to add a little support and coverage and the cut is very bra friendly. | |

Keep the longer length!

| I love this top in its newest incarnation so much that I got it in every color available. Like its long sleeve cousin the Serenity top and the 3/4 sleeve Leafy top, it is always appropriate, flattering, comfortable, feminine with a fit, athletic vibe. These three tops feature different fabrics, all mainstays of my work, weekend, gym, and travel wardrobes. I am 5'6" short-waisted and the new Bandha length is perfect -- hits just at hip bones. I am not at all well endowed yet this top makes the most of my fairly flat chest. Don't change a thing -- except to add more prints! | |

| I love this top: it is an elegant addition to my wardrobe. Although very simple in design, it compliments a woman's curves nicely. The colour and fabric are great. A real gem. It will be used on trips and not wrinkle! I am also glad that Patagonia has now reverted to their previous size MEDIUM. I have been buying Patagonia clothing since 1989, after my fist trip to Ventura . The woman's sizing has gone through a metamorphosis, with my size going up despite no change in the actual body measurements. I applaud the new fit/size guidelines. Things were just getting a little too snug. ms | |

Great casual top | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is one of my favorite casual tops. I wear it with the w's island capris and some sandals to run errands, grocery shop or take the kids to the playground. I also wear it with a denim skirt and wedge shoe. It's a very flattering top. The V-neck doesn't gape open when I'm bending over to pick up my kids. I'm 5'9" tall and average - slim athletic build with a small chest. This top works great for my body type. I like the extra length, but if you are on the shorter side you could easily hem it to the desired length. | |

Comfortable, versatile top
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This top is a great travel and all-around top. It looks refined and can go well with a pair of jeans or a skirt. It also has a great stretchy fabric that seems like it would dry quickly and last a long time (I haven't tested those aspects yet), which make it easy for travel and all-around adaptability. Plus, I don't think it wrinkles. My favorite part of this top is that it is a bit long in the torso, which means it doesn't sneak up on you when you're out and about. For a long-torso-ed gal like me, that's a definite perk. | |

| This shirt is cool and comfortable. It can be worn with a nice skirt or a pair of shorts and always look good. I wasnt crazy about the seam line that runs from the base of the knot to the bottom of the shirt. It wasnt evident in photos online, but buying the print version made the line unnoticeable. I bought it with the brown women's vitality skirt and it looks fantastic. I have already worn the combo to my sister's bridal shower and my son's baptism. I would highly recommend this to a friend. | |

| This is an excellent shirt. Good coverage for long torsos (I'm 6'0) and very slimming. This is one of the few shirts that I can wear to the office, then to yoga class, off for a bike ride and then out to a nice dinner in, all in the same day. Great for travel, no wrinkles, light weight, and dries super quick in your hotel room after a quick wash. Incredibly comfortable for everything. I wear this shirt so often that I really can't remember what I wore before I owned this shirt. | |

I have 6 of these... but won't buy again...
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I used to LOVE the Bandha top and I own at least 6 of them. Each year I look forward to the new colors. I am returning the last one I purchased, as the top has been lengthened significantly -- it's about SIX inches LONGER than all the other tops I've purchased. I'm very small-chested & 5'-1" and this top used to be incredibly flattering, athletic & even sexy. Now the end of the top sits right above the bottom of my butt & puffs out at the stomach and sides. It looks frumpy and completely unflattering. I was devoted to this top, but this last one will be returned & I won't buy the new colors. Very disappointed. | |

Poorly Designed - Meant for tall flat-chested wome
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I read that Patagonia recently re-designed these tops and made them longer. That might be fine and dandy for tall women, but the top was way too long and looked ridiculous on this 5' 41/2" woman. I'm also a C cup and the armholes weren't cut right for me and cut into my body. This top is probably best for a tall flatter-chested woman. I'm returning mine. I wish Patagonia had noted the design peculiarities in its product description so I wouldn't have wasted money on non-refundable shipping charges. | |

| The material on this top is very clingy - I wouldn't recommend for curvier bodies. I also didn't like the seam right down the middle; I could feel it against my skin and I think it looks odd. But based on everyone else's ratings, I might be the only one who hasn't loved this top. | |

| Very disappointed that the bandha top is so long! It used to be short! I LOVED the short one, but the long one is not nearly as nice, doesn't fit nearly as well. Could you please make the short one again? | |

I found the cut and style unflattering for my flat-chested figure, and the material just wasn't as soft as I wanted it to be. It has a more technical feel.

| I loved the previous version of this shirt - shoulders were narrow, length was right, it moved well, and went from the office to a drink with friends, with a stop at yoga or the climbing wall in-between. I would, in fact, give the old version of this shirt 5 stars. So, Patagonia decided to improve it. The fabric is still nice - if you get the plain, unpatterned one, that is. However, they've widened the shoulders and lengthened the hem a lot, and it doesn't fit me as well. There's too much fabric here, and it gets in the way when I try to move. | |

| I LOVE the Bandha Top! I have a it in brown and a beautiful blue. So super comfortable that I wear it for work and play. I ordered my third one but unfortunately, it is much longer than the other two, about 5 inches! I mailed it back for an exchange and the next one was also way too big for me. I'll wait until next season and hope that the sizing goes back to what it was.If not,I suggest the description should be corrected to read, EXTRA long length. I love Patagonia clothing, the company and the excellent customer service! | |

Cute style, but too long!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I love the idea of the Bandha top. So much, in fact, that I have purchased it several different times, hoping that the styling had changed. But I continue to be disappointed. The shoulder and twist are wonderful, but the shirt is TOO long! I ordered an XS, and even that size fell way below hip level on my average 5'4" frame. I will probably try again, but I hope that the top is shortened just a bit! | |
