Patagonia's Beanie Hat's clean lines and adaptable fabric combination shift freely from warming up a chilly morning of bouldering to sliding under a helmet or hood on the slopes. It's lightweight, compressible and made from a moisture-wicking blend of 51% acrylic and 49% fine-gauge merino wool for all-day, no-itch comfort and warmth. The low profile ensures adhesion and maximum speeds on the descent.

The frill-free, low-volume profile of Patagonia's Beanie Hat makes it an easy fit over your head alone or between your head and your skiing or climbing helmet. Sized to adapt to a wide range of head sizes, this colorful cap features a warm and moisture-wicking blend of wool and acrylic that won't leave you scratching your scalp like some other wooly hats.

From climbing, to skiing, to in-town adventures, the Patagonia Beanie hat gets the job done with a touch of style.
The low-profile Patagonia Beanie Hat easily fits under a helmet for climbing adventures in a cold winter world. Its merino wool and acrylic blend creates excellent warmth, wind resistance, and itch-free comfort in the mountains.

Great under a helmet | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I bought this beanie to wear under my helmet while rafting. It was snowing the morning we went to run the river, and I had my neoprene, splash jacket, fleece pants, and fleece socks on. I was also wearing my beanie under my helmet. To be honest, I almost took it off because it was too warm. It did a great job of wicking sweat away, and keeping my noggin nice and toasty. | |

This beanie is hat perfection.

| I love the Patagonia Beanie Hat. Well made with great designs to choose from. I got the large and find it very comfortable to wear. Not too tight like most "one size fits all" hats and doesn't mash my hair down. It also provides the perfect balance of warmth and breathability on those cold Michigan days and nights. I hate tight sweaty stocking hats. This beanie is hat perfection. | |

Pat Hat | |

A standard beanie from a great company. I really have been digging Pat a lot lately, and this hat is just another reason. It is warm, and fits my slightly larger head great. The colours are a bit retro-esque, but the black is nice. It does fit under a climbing helmet, but I have found other beanies better suited for it, and mostly prefer skullcaps anyway.

The all-day beanie | |

| There are clothes that become a part of you. They are clothes that you can wear day and night and still feel very comfortable. This beanie seems to fall into this category. Light, very comfortable and warm, this beanie is becoming my favorite all around head gear. Whether around the corner or around the world, this one is coming along with me! | |

Favorite Beanie | |

| Maybe I have a melon head because unlike the review above I love this beanie for the fit as well as fabric weight and great colors. I need a beanie to cover my ears in the cold. I must admit I don't wear a beanie under my helmets so this could be a problem for people that do. | |

Nice for keeping your head warm

| I wear this hat everyday and for the most part it's great. It's just thick enough to keep you warm without overheating. My only gripe is the wind cuts right thru it, and in extreme cold it isn't enough. But for active sports or under a hood, it's a great of a good hat. | |

good hat | |

This is a nice hat. Not really too many thrills but it looks and feels nice. It doesn't itch and is big enough for my larger melon. Just a few weeks ago we in the Midwest had some arctic temps...and this kept the ol' cranium warm. Good hat and gets the job done.

A beanie that fits! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I don't think of my head as being all that large, but I find that most beanies don't quite cover my ears. This one does the trick, without feeling too big. Plus, it keeps my head warm without itching. And to top it all off, it's got that cool Patagonia style.

Classic + Stylin' | |

| You can't go wrong with the classic, lightweight beanie from Patagonia. Fold it in half and stuff it in your pocket for sure relief from the biting cold. Keeps the Seattle chill away and won't burn you up if duck inside for a grande drip, like those old-school 300-wt. fleece hats. | |

excellent product | |

| I've been very impressed with this Patagonia beanie; it fits well even though I have a large head (many hats like this are too tight for me) and looks smashing. I've worn it in temperatures down to about -5 Fahrenheit and it has been enough to keep me warm. | |

Would be perfect if it fit!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Patagonia has been making the beanie for years, and I have been buying it for years. Why? Because it comes in cool new colors and patterns every year. That's why it really pains me to say that they don't make 'em like they used to. The fabric appears to be the same, and it's a perfect weight, but the fit is terrible. The hat is much longer than the other two older Patagonia beanies I own (the circumference is great). I have to pull this hat clear over my eyes in order to have a tight fit at the crown of my head. And it doesn't fit under my helmet because if I want to see, there's a bunch of extra fabric at the top. It would be much better if this hat were actually a beanie, and fit closely on my head. | |

Comfortable but not warm at all, no insulation

| Comfortable hat, but I would not recommend wearing it on cold days...very little insulation. | |

Too big for my little head
| Rating: | ![]() |
Like the toque and it's warm but it's too big for my head. I've got a patagonia toque from a few seasons back and it fits great just can't find a replacement anywhere, everything is too big. Going to try and run it in the washing machine and try to shrink it down.
