I am so glad Patagonia has now made bottoms from their Capilene 1 Silkweight Stretch fabric. The prior ones, made from the regular Cap 1 Silkweight fabric were too confining, in my opinion. These are perfect - great fit, nice weight fabric (not sheer, at least in the black) and move easily. I bought them to wear under thin nordic ski pants but now plan to wear them as leggings having seen how nice they are. I will definitely order more. I am 5 ft 8 in 120 lbs and the small fits well and is long enough.

These tights are great. They're light and smooth and fit under other pants easily. They stretch very well and I expect they'll be very versatile for paddling (to wear as a base layer) and hiking. Not too bad as PJs either! I enjoy that they seem longer in the leg than most tights.
These bottoms are so soft and comfortable. The stretch is great and yet they stay in place. For sizing, I am 5 ft 9 in 135lbs (hips are about 381/2 inches.), went with size Medium for a perfect fit. Really like how the silkweight bottoms have evolved. Nice work patagonia!

Not too high on the waist
These fit great on the waist....just below. They fit perfectly with the new style of "low rise" jeans. I wear them every day to work. I sit at the front desk and we get lots of outdoor drafts from the N. MN winters.
I purchased these for sleeping on my upcoming AT thru-hike. The Medium fit me perfectly...I'm 5 ft 6 in tall and 130 lbs. They were comfortable and warm for sleeping on my fall shakedown hike.
