| I have owned base-layers from other companies that kept me warm but didn't wick very well. I was out chasing my niece around the yard and playing catch and I didn't have an ounce of sweat on me while wearing this. My only complaint is that it fits great in the chest/back but the arms and waist are way too lose. I ordered a M and feel a S may be too tight in the chest, so I stuck with the M. Also, if you are wearing this in the sun, get the white to cut down on sunburn. | |

| I have been a huge fan of the Cap 1 line for years. I like the warmth vs. breathability factor, and I like how the garments slide beneath other layers. I use this garment all year-round, from winter backcountry skiing under an R1, to summer climbing under a Houdini, to Kayaking and Mountain biking in the inbetween seasons. I can jump in the water and get it totally wet, and within a half-hour I am totally dry. This is also an excellent piece for extended backpacking trips. Love it, Love it , Love it! Cool graphics too! | I love these shirts. perfect first layer for what I use them for - saltwater flyfishing. Light, silky, and very comfy. Dries quickly and, unlike other shirts of this type, doesn't have a weird odor after use. I've completely made the transition to synthetics while out on the water in my kayak, and Patagonia does synthetics best. The Capilene 1 is the best! | |

| I bought this on sale so any time one can find capilene 1 at a discount, that rocks. Shirt fits me perfect and I'm 6'2 230lbs. This stuff is good as an outer layer when working out or layering with a vest during cool conditions. If you want to feel comfortable instead of sticky no matter what you do than buy this. | |

| Living in the mountains I experience a wide range of weather. I found the Cap 1 longsleeve to be effective in all conditions. In the warmer conditions its in its element especially with the UPF sun protection, but even in the cooler windy conditions I found it to keep me warm and comfortable. | I ordered two of these while they were on closeout. I wish I had ordered thirty. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable to wear; you hardly realize you're wearing them.
