Great Baselayer for children

Love Patagonia Baselayers. We have 7 or 8 sets in our family of different weights. These are great for the kiddos too. The sizing is my only beef. I wish they had more accurate sizing for children. I had an 18 month setr for one of my daughters and it was huge - still fit her at three +. As for the pants in this review, I ordered in a small (7-8 years). My daughter is average height and weight and 7.25 years old. The pants are quite a bit too long, and bunch up in her ski boots to the point of not being wearable. The top fits better, yet a bit roomy for long underwear. I am thinking of trying a size down in the pants.

We love Patagonia Capilene for our kids. When they outgrow a set, we just order the next size up. And it's always in good enough condition to hand down to the next kid in line. It breathes well, keeps them warm, and washes easily. I do think the pants run a little long, but the excess material has never been a problem. IT just means we get an extra season of wear out of them!

Ultimate PJ

My daughter wore her last pair till the hem was above the ankle. Just a great layer to have around. This is the pajama of choice, you know your child will be warm! Nice fit under snow pants. My child has never complained about any of her Capilene itching or bothering her. I'm always happy to spend a few extra dollars for something that i know will stay together and keep her comfortable.

THE BEST!!

We get these over and over. My kids are comfortable for hours outside in a northern Minnesota winter and each pair gets worn by the three kids in our family AND THEN passed down to another family!! These don't give up! I recommend them for winter outdoor activities, for jammies, for cool summer evenings, for clothing-sensitive kids. ETC.

love these!

My two sons, ages 3 & 5, live in these pants every weekend throughout the winter. They each have 2 pairs so that there is a pair for each day. They love the comfort and I love the fact that they are warm and dry for whatever activity we are doing.

reliable and warm

We have been using capilene 3 long underwear for our kids from the age of 3 and up. Capilene 3 is a high quality base layer fabric. It is suprisingly insulating for its thinness and comfort. It washes well and dries relatively quickly. Passes down well from child to child.

My Kids love these. It is our go to Thermals for winter sports. A must have. They hold up and keep you warm. I can pass these down to the next child. Their comfortable enough to wear as pajamas to bed or underneath snow pants.

great long underwear!

so very warm! I have gone down into the teens with these pants and they have never let me down! I expect that they still would be warm in the single digits. LOVE them. Great buy

When it is cold outside, I like dressing my kids with a layer of Patagonia Long underwear. The pieces last as long as they fit my child! They do not shrink or shred.

Outstanding

My 6 year old boy and 4 year old boy are living in these. They love them as much as I love mine. Recommend for all activities and laying around the house.
