Common Threads Recycling Program
Research shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material.

| I bought these bottoms just for everyday use, I'm not devoted to some winter sport or anything like this. But I was born and spent the majority of my life in Siberia. We say there that real Siberian is not the person who never is cold, but the person who wears warm clothes :) And now I live in Wisconsin, where is cold enough in winter. I liked the inside of these bottoms from the very first sight, and they hadn't disappointed me: they are nice and cosy to skin and warm enough for Wisconsin winter to wear with jeans. | |

| When I unpacked these I'll admit I was a bit skeptical that these thin little tights would help keep me warm but was delighted to find that their addition made all the difference in my comfort in cold winter water. I ordered the extra large because I fall in between Large and extra large. The extra large are quite loose on me at the waist and thoughout the leg but there is no way I'm sending them back for exchange. I fish too often and won't go unless I have them on!!! | |

I LOVE these!! I wear them as pants. They are thick enough to keep me warm but don't look bulky nor too tight. They complement my shape and the waist is nice and loose. I ordered them in 2 sizes so I could have a more relaxed pair and a pair that would look great around town. | |
