Fantastic, a new standard

I have a few pairs of these now, and they're replacing my Under Armour briefs, especially for running and yoga. They dry nearly instantly, hold up well, and come with Patagonia's guarantee and recycling program. The butt is just a tiny bit big, so there's sometimes a bit too much material in a pair of running tights, but not enough to cause chafing or even be noticeable once my focus goes to my run.

"They truly rawk the rocks."

| Unfortunately, I bought these elsewhere on a whim and on sale. However, had I known of their superior powers of keeping the jewels cool, dry and comfortable, I would have gladly purchased them from Moosejaw at any price. My girlfriend is beginning to insist that I take them off to at least wash them, but these are truly th most comfortable pair of briefs I've owned since my superman underroos. She never understands me. | |

COMFORT and SUPPORT | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| A very comfortable and stylish sport brief, which is comfortable enough to wear as an everyday brief. Provides excellent suppport and the breathable fabric keeps moisture from building up during activities. Price is a little higher than I would like, but briefs are very high quality and well made. Very satisfied with this purchase. | |

| I'd just like to say these, cheesy as it is, are fantastic for climbing. Whether I'm sport-climbing at the Red or bouldering in Bishop, having bunched up boxers is the worst. The Active Sport Brief is a great way to achieve a freedom of movement, without compromising comfort. | |

"so nice you might forget you have them on...."

| Best briefs i have owned. Very comfortable, no lines under the waistband at the end of the day. strechy so sizing is not an issue. If you are a brief man these are what you want after several hours down the trail. | |

| Addicted to these briefs. Was not sure the experience would justify the cost. They absolutely do. Would not sell them for a profit...no way! Fit is better on the briefs than on the boxers. Very happy camper here! | |

| This is a great product. I have several pairs of Patagonia Active Briefs, which I like. However, the Active Sport Brief is a great product - great fit, smooth material, great moisture wicking. I'll be buying more. | |

Brief review | |

| I have been using these for cycling and definitely wouldn't go back to cotton underwear. Great wicking/quick drying material. Just a bit more elastic would help keep them in place under my cycling shorts. | |

"You won't take these off your bum"

| These briefs are so freaking comfortable, you won't want to take them off. Unfortunately, they are a bit pricey, but they're worth every penny. Splurge on these briefs and you won't be sorry! | |

Okay briefs. | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These briefs work okay... comfortable, wick away moisture, dry fast, but I'd stick with the basic Active Briefs instead--you get the elastic waistband, the fly... a better fit and function. | |

| Purchased especially for a long hike in Peru. In the high dry Andes these briefs took forever to dry. They were still quiet wet the next day and didn't compete with the competition. | |

Average comfort | |

| The fit should be better. The material does not wick as well the shirts. You would be more satisfied with the Ex Oficio because of the fit and comfort of the improved waistband. | |

I have to concur with the reviewer who mentioned the slight but consistent wedgie these briefs give you. Other than that they are great, but because of that I would not recommend them.
