Capilene base layers are satiny soft against the skin, and the Patagonia Men's Active Classic Boxers reign supreme. Choose from Patagonia's regular-length classic version (inseam, 4 5/8") for its streamlined styling, or the longer Boxers (inseam, 5 3/8") for relaxed waist, covered waistband and slimmer fit through the legs. Functional fly on both. Made in USA. Common Threads Recycling ProgramResearch shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material.Capilene® Core Performance® Capilene base layers afford quick-drying, next-to-skin moisture management for all activities in all conditions from high-altitude bivies to sun-soaked water sports.

There's a reason why Patagonia's boxers are a cult favorite – they keep their cool, especially in sticky situations. The quick-drying, lightweight underwear takes up minimal space in a travel pack. Worn a pair every day for the last 10+ years
| Rating: | ![]() |
Pretty much the Gold Standard in men's boxer underwear and the most comfortable thing out there. My brother in law claims you can go for weeks without changing them, and while I wouldn't go that far, the nice loose fit and silky material does mean they stay comfy and dry for extended periods of time.

Love'em in Iraq | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I am currently stationed in Iraq with the MN National Guard with this being the second summer you learn quickly you need everything to be moisture wicking. The Active Classic Boxers fit the bill. At 7:00am, the temperature is already 90 F most days and by 3:00pm, we hit the low to mid 120s F. You sweat all the time and these boxers beat briefs easily at wicking moisture away and are comfortable to boot. I have a couple of pair and they can easily be rinsed and dried when you are on the go. Since water is precious and at times, saving it only for drinking you can easily go several days with out changing boxers and not smelling like the locals.

Smooth as silk | |

I love these boxers! They are comfortably smooth. I ordered these a few years back and fell in love with them. Now, I came back and got some more.

Finally, the search is over...

| Seriously, the older I get, the more I realize it's better to spend more on the little things in life that affect you day-to-day. I always thought I was being smart buying less expensive socks and underwear, assuming that they're all the same. However, for the last several years, I've been buying all brands and styles seeking the "perfect" pair of boxers, and without complete satisfaction. That is, until I bought the Patagonias. They are superb; super comfortable regardless of the temperature, don't bunch up like so many others, and come in a lot of colors/designs. Not inexpensive, but then, definitely worth the price for the comfort. | |

Most comfortable clothes I own
| Rating: | ![]() |
| These boxers are at least the most comfortable underwear I've over owned, if not the most comfortable piece of clothing I've ever owned. They feel like silk, are ultra light weight, and are very quick drying. I originally bought them for camping/hiking, but at only $15 a pop, I think I'll get a few more. The best part is Patagonia's environmentally friendly mind set. The packaging is minimal, their products are manufactured using the highest environmentally-friendly methods, and their gear is impeccable. I'd recommend to any one. | |

My son won't wear anything else!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Initially I stated that I refused to spend this much on a pair of underwear. However, my son noted that they simply last forever -- I must admit that he has several pair that are four years old and perfectly wearable -- and that actually makes them a good value. Plus, as he and his cousin were comparing notes on Christmas gifts and they were laughing that it must be good if you're happy to receive underwear as a gift, I think that says it all! | |

The ultimate year round boxers
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Don't take it in the shorts! Get these boxers and you will be well satisfied. The first ones I bought 5 years ago are still in great condition. I travel a lot so wanted something easy to care for but was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they were. So now These boxers are the only ones I buy and the price is offset by the longevity, ease of washing and drying, and superior comfort in hot or cold weather. | |

8th Wonder of the World | |

I have been to the corners of the earth, and seen the many wonders of this planet and the many achievements of mankind, and can say without hyperbole that these boxers are the universe's greatest accomplishment. Stretchy, soft, light, way more fun to wear than underwear should be, I love these damn things. And Backcountry rules. I ordered them on a Thursday and received them on Monday, and that's with the free shipping they say will take 7-10 days.

These are the only Boxers I wear in the outdoors. They are impossible to kill and are extremely comfortable. I think It is very important to include synthetic underwear in a layering system. What good are all the fancy outer layers if there is cotton right next to your skin? These aren't just a alternative to cotton they are way better. Its also nice to have a technical layer that has the cut and feel of regular underwear.

"Silky" | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is the next generation of Patagonia silkweight boxers where they added a natural odor fighting agent. I've used them on the trail and they are able to go for week without any noticeable smell. Another plus is that the waistband is a bit beefer which makes them a 1/2 oz or so heavier that the old version. But I consider that another improvement because the band stands up better after washings. | |

Big n Baggy | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
This are made of great wicking material it looks like. I never owned them long enough to wear em'. They are way too baggy for and average sized guy in my opinion (i'm 6'0" 190) and ordered the Medium's. The legs have a lot of extra material and they extend halways to the kneecap. The cool designs dont' make up for the potential wedgies these will create. I returned them right after I looked at them. GO WITH THE EX OFFICIO GIVE n' GO BOXERS!

OVER Rated | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
its ok but if you consider the price, its a bit over rated. 1) the seams on in the rear so it can chaff your butt. 2)Its suppose to wick moisture away from your body by dispersing moisture. Think about that for a minute, Do I want moisture from that area of my body spreading? Answer is NO. Again, it alright but nothing spectacular.

a little baggy.... | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
I got these for my boyfriend and he found them a little too baggy for his liking. They fit well in the waist, but there is a lot of material in them that could get bunchy. They sort of fit like a little skirt...he's about 5'4" 130lbs for a reference. Maybe they are just too big despite fitting in the waist.

Runs Big | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Great material and product. These boxers run huge, I normally wear a small and a 31-32 waist. But to fit properly I would need to wear an Xsmall. The waist band fits well, fabric part is too loose and baggy. Bottom line, the small fits like a medium in regular boxers. | |

"good boxers but too pricey"
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I wore them while hiking in the cold Canadian Rocky Mountains. They were loose and not too clingy but would occasionally ride up my thigh. They did their job of wicking away sweat. However I think they are way overpriced and regular boxers probably would have been fine to wear instead. | |

not a bad boxer, but nothing special about it either. i think it is a little overpriced and preferred the other ones i got instead. look at ibex or icebreaker for some nice merino boxers that i think fit and feel better
